Find any of these this year?

Found these this week while walking in the woods looking for my next grow spot.

That's funny. That is also one of the reason I don't eat venision. When my dogs get some I have to kick themout of the house.
Found one shed last year and this year I found 2 matching pairs and 3 that I havent found their mate. Yet

Man... I wanted to go searching for sheds this year.. but had a tree stand accident... I'll prolly beable to go searching in a month or so...
dunno how fast they get eaten around here.

On another note... the next duck hunting dog I get... I plan to train it to shed hunt too... seen some awesome stories.

Finding complete sheds is considered the holy grail when shed hunting... and is harder then most would think. This guy got like 5 complete sheds in like 5+ years... trained his pup to hunt sheds... and got 7 complete sheds in one year... and now he has 2 dogs that do it.. his newer one just learned from the older dog.... but he goes into the woods.. .and these dogs will run off 300m+ and come back with an antler... they sometimes find 20+ antlers in a single day...
they also can bring back caribou, elk, and even moose sheds if you live in such an area.

Can't wait... there's some neat stuff to make out of sheds.

What got my really wanting to shed hunt this year was spotting a 140+ whitetail on my property... saw him 3 times.. never got a shot.. most he showed was about 5 seconds...

How long have you been shed hunting?
Any tips?

Started lookng last year and found one. This year got lucky. Look for where they have the leaves all dug up. That is where they are looking for nuts. Found most of them in feeding areas. Good luck thanks for stopping by. I'll post the rest of the ones I found this year.

If I find any I'll post some pics.

I've read.. along fence lines where they may have to jump, trails to and from bedding area or sanctuary's, or to and from feeding area's is a good place to start!
