SANTA ANA (KTLA) -- Narcotics officers in Santa Ana have uncovered Thursday night what they call one of the biggest marijuana growth operations they have ever seen. Detectives served a search warrant on the location Thursday night and uncovered a sophisticated marijuana growth operation at the location, which was not licensed for business. Cpl. Anthony Bertagna of the Santa Ana Police Department said officers received an anonymous tip that a business in southeast Santa Ana was illegally growing marijuana. Narcotics investigators were able to witness enough suspicious activity at the location to obtain a search warrant. "The location was strictly strictly set up for different stages of growth," Bertagna said. "Every month they were moving about $130,000 of marijuana." He also said the business had not had an operating license since 2009. Narcotics investigators are calling this one of the biggest drug busts the department has ever conducted.

Santa Ana is the Heroin Capitol of OC....seems like they would be happy to see pot, instead of hard drugs--
I grew up in OC...glad I am gone...I really hate that place--

Those didn't look like 42 day strains to me. maybe i missed something, like the hugeness of this grow. I've seen a lot bigger around here.lol.
