I have grown out both strains repeatedly. I prefer the high from Satori over btb. If yields are your concerns than the larger btb pheno will def do the job.

As some mentioned btb is a satori cross from the Satori P1 side

First run with BtB, today was chop day for one of my two BtB girls (#1).

So far, loving this plant pheno already, cannot wait to test her smoke! if it's up to my expectations regarding potency and effect I'll have a keeper. Stout, resilient, compact, lovely leaf to calyx ratio...

Left BtB #1 lower side shoots alive to futher ripe:

On chop day:

How do you see her? I think main cola was more than ripe? What about these side shoots? (which pack serious weight, ranging from golf to tennis ball sized buds)

Funnily, the other BtB girl, BtB #2 is a completely different beast that grew almost double the size, was a headache to keep while stretching, and it's taking her time to swell and ripe... but the most notable difference is on how its buds develop, and specially their lime-green color (both BtB were grown on the same tent, same time, same temps):

I'm afraid it's not going to swell more? I don't like body stone, and grow for myself so prefer quality over quantity any time, it was 70 days in flower last Feb 11th. Should I cut already if buds feel tight? Or will BtB #2 benefit from some more time?

Well done! I'll bet the #2 pheno is expressing its Satori SSR(Super Sky Rocket ie stretching) genes. Chop the upper portion of the plant and harvest the smaller buds 3 days later.

Love hearing from people in the know of these strains

One thing is for sure: BB #2 potency is on a different league vs the rest, instantly noticeable on early vaped samples. nugs have an outrageous glisten even when looked at inside the jar.

So far is the only one that impressed me in the potency department, and the only one I'm considering to keep as a mom... hope it will yield better next time, it kind of consumed itself prematurely by mid-flower.

Nice! Please elaborate further on what about BTB's high that you enjoy. If you like BTB, you will really enjoy Satori, but in a different way.

Worked with them both, but had serious herm issues with BTB. Satori however we have used as breeding material. That speaks volumes!

Both BB are still curing, they were on the opposite sides of the spectrum:

BB #1 Is a great plant to work with, fast, fast rooting clones, not picky at all, vigorous but stout, indica growing pattern, develop purples, really good yield, incredible aromas... a great SOG plant. But High is missing on samples I've vaped so far. nothing. nada.

BB #2 grew like a sativa bush, developing isolated buds, long internodes... haven't weighted yet but would say it yielded about 70% (being 200% bigger) than BB #1. A plant IMHO that will need SCROG to optimize yield/space/time. It has been 2 weeks since the chop. (3 for BB #1)

BB #2 High is potent, and strongly noticeable straight from the first early samples (trimming scissors hash) I tested. Vaped 0.5g yesterday and while the high needs yet to "develop" with the curing, I felt it solidly for about 2hours... given the tolerance I have, only BB #2 is really promising on the potency dept.

High is totally cerebral, mildly energetic and absolutely clear, everything is more colorful and bright, you feel in a joyful, relaxed mood with a chilling attitude. You are clear enough to carry on with any chores happily. There's a slight burnt on landing, but I'm confident it will mostly go away and become cleaner once it gets a proper cure.

i've scoured the web and can't find satori seeds anywhere. luckily i have about half a pack of btb that this thread is motivating me to pop.
