JamaicanSativa/X13/Thai and KaliMist/X13/Thai
Hej hej all
![]() I got some seeds from Dman to test for him. The strains are jamaicanSativa/X13/Thai and KaliMist/X13/Thai, those are mostly sativa and will be likely to be flowered for + 70 days. Dman gave me all rights to do what i want with those gems so i´ll make some f2´s for further playing (only with the fastest males to keep 12/12 a bit down) All 12 beans sprouted after 48h´s in rockwoolcubes and i transplanted them in small pots as the broke the ground. Now its day 7 and all are doing fine building their second set of true leafes fj

Ahhh most interesting.
What is the X13? I've got a serious eye on Red Widow 13, do you have anything to say about that one? spliffmasta |

![]() X-13 =A13 x G13 the thai that was used came from TFD ,if i recall right and the two sats are just that : Sativas I´, planning on doing a side by side grow of both varieties , for that op i´ll set up another room lit by a 600 on 6 sqf making 100w/sqf. Sidenote: I´m a big believer in "more watts are fatter budz" fj

hehe spliff
joa Dman made some gems IMHO , i´m planning to cross both with my Trueblueberry studs to keep 12/12 down a bit and to make them more managable in height. But he told me that there were more testers than me out there .... so maybe you will find some other reports . fj

heja all
![]() Transplanted all testors , LAL sry i´m baked in 4L pots (15x15x20 cm) and put them under the HID. Sidenote to KM-crosses: culled two seedlings, they were just to slow and couldnt get on par with the others - so no chance to stay here, as i only accept strong vigorous plants. Fj

Yesterday i put all 10 seedlings in 12/12 as i read some threads from a guy (dont want to name him) who mentioned to grow +50% sat crosses with a 12/12 light regime.
i will clone every single plant two times and will keep the best fem at the end of the day. in case of the plants will grow so high that they "fight with the bulb" i´m planning to repott them into larger pots (6.5L) and tie/bend them down and make some Scrog-O-maso , just let´s have some fun .....Fj PS:today i´ll get my cam back so tons of pix are waiting to be made :P

So you got the advice to put everything that is 50%+ sativa directly into 12/12? Is that regardless of the flowering period?
I've got some Acapulco X and I am definitely going to put that straight into 12/12, but I also have some Black Thai (Thai tanic F2s), and I was considering it with them as well. And if the rule is based merely on sativa dominance, my garden shouldn't even have a veg chamber lol. Just wondering if sativas that are only 8-10 weeks would still do OK developing a strong root system and what not. FYI afropips is a strong advocate of flowering sativas indoor from seed as well. spliffmasta <----wants JXT13, BADLY Last edited by spliffmastaflex; 02-15-2006 at 07:11 PM.. |

I grow a lot of sativa that I got in Jamaica,if it's anything like that stock it's gonna stretch 3 to 4 times in flower. Mine seem to take between 90 and 120 days to fully mature.I also have found that 11 hrs of light speeds things up a bit.Peace from the South.
