hello there, i was wondering if anyone could help me?
im running two 600w lights off my contactor which has two
sockets.
on the site i got it, it says "Each contactor can switch 13amps, ie 3 x 600w lamp units or 4 x 400w lamp units"

i would like to add another 600w to my grow, so how do i run
it off this two socket contactor safley?
i was going to just get another contactor but if i can utilise the
other contactor i will as my funds are low at the moment.

Any pictures of this contractor? I think you have your ratting off as well. Is this a 120v or 240v?

It would be helpful if you can provide a link to a image of the said contactor.

If it is like the one pictured above then I would reccomend getting a new contactor 13 amp 4 socket type.

I believe yours is a 13 amp 2 way, Considering your asking how to safely run more lights off it, I would say your better off just purchasing a 13 amp 4 socket contactor. Using extension cords can get dangerous when running continuous heavy loads. Something I personally dont reccomend.

i was thinking about how it could be dangerous to overload an extension.
