Question dryerase paint..........

Just found this online.....and was intrigued by the idea.....of keeping notes in the grow room..............right there on the walls.....

says it hardens to a clear surface.............so the previous flat white comes thru......

https://dryerasemagic.com/

How Does Markee™ Work?

Markee™ Dry Erase Paint takes the concept of a dry erase board to the next level of innovation. All you have to do to make any surface dry-erasable is easily apply 8 to 10 thin coats of Markee™. Expo™ dry erase markers need to be used just like a regular dry erase board. That's it.

And the best part is-- it dries completely clear, so the color of your wall (that you probably spent weeks deciding on) is still visible!

You can paint a few square feet of the wall, you can paint one whole wall, you can even paint an entire room in dry erase!

Imagine the possibilities of an entire dry erase room. All you need is dry erase markers and you are ready to fill your walls with anything you can think of—brainstorming, class notes, children’s artwork—you name it! Just think of it—your wall or room can be in a constant state of change.

Once you have painted Markee™ on to ANY SURFACE, it can be erased as many times as you want. Just make sure to clean your board after every use, since all writting must be cleaned within 24 hours.

AND Markee™ Dry Erase Paint is guaranteed to last up to 10 years!

You may be thinking to yourself, “OK, sounds like a great idea, but what if I redecorate or rearrange and I don’t want that particular surface to be dry erase anymore?” All you have to do is paint over it and it’s like it was never there!

MY question............think itz safe enuff for our plants......
or what about the dry erase markers.........hhhhemmmmm.... ...

very interesting......indeedy...... YB

bad idea yort. Real expensive and doesn't work that great. I would buy some 1/4 inch whiteboard, cheap and easy. I demo these from commercial buildings all the time so I get these for free. I have them in the grow room, just outside the grow and the fridge. They are great.

If you do buy the paint, I would almost double the recommended amount. The sq ft they give you is really low, which makes it more expensive. Only reason I know this is people want it all the time in their office buildings. I think it is a huge waste of money, but a cool product none the less.

As far as being safe......VOC's are a problem for sure. I would never put plants in a room that was freshly painted with any paint that wasn't labled low VOC. I don't know about the levels of VOC's from the markers, but the paint would be a problem with growing plants. VOC = Volatile organic compounds

VOC's are more of a problem with rooms that are closed system. If you are pumping air through your room 24/7 then VOC's become less of a problem.

Google search Idea paint, I have it on my room.
Great for college students and creative minds.
Comes in handy when calculating things you need to calculate since I'm always in a lab or whatnot.
