Well after my first disaster grow and 2 males binned.
i germed 3 more seeds and planted them and pleased to say i got 3 females at 17 days old, odd thing is there all different sizes 4"/6" sounds a tiny amount but looks alot.
i have my 250 watt cfl about 12 inches away as when i had it right on top of them their was pretty much no growth and as this is my first "so far" successful grow i have no base line of how tall they should be. oh well wait and see i guess.

They can grow anywere from 8" to 1ft,its been hard breeding the height back into them and i want to do it without adding a large non auto plant which could cause the auto trait to dissapear.
Next time the get the best out of them start them in there final pot and keep the light like you say 10-12 inches away and see if that helps .
