Designated grower
Been trying for a liscense myself for two yrs but looks grim.....I,m not getting any younger and can,t stand the BS anymore.
But I have been approached by two friends in recent weeks who both have their cards but need a grower.One person has 3g./day allowance the other has 10g./day.Since I,m looking at 65 plants which is a lot in my situation.I have been crime free for 30 yrs so no problem there.I,m up for doing this but wondering if one person can grow for two ppl. (which I think is allowed),and would I have a trouble free time to actually do this at my property which is located in an isolated area a few miles from town. Basically it would all be on the up and up,but just not sure if the cops would hassle someone in this situation...(I live on the far East coast of Canada where they don,t like any kinda drugs.Obviously it is legal and I would go by the book,but just how much info is given to the police by HC.....and basically what are your feelings on some of the things I should be careful about? I know rippers are a problem etc. but I would be alarmed and armed.Mainly how much of a screw around could the cops send my way. This may seem naive,but believe I have lived outside the law for a good part of my life and some of em just don,t like me. Some comments would be appreciated........I,d love to do this as I have some experience with plants and I,m retired/disabled but still able to take care of these two people looking for help Thnx for any feedback jarff

OK thnx for info...appreciated....yep gonna check out your link bigbag.Been there before but never really checked the site out very good but will go back to it...Very professional that I can decipher ....
As a side note,there are lotsa ppl. in my area who have a liscense and don,t realize they can get a designated grower.There is one person who had his card for over two yrs.and can,t grow a single plant due to living conditions,lack of knowledge or disability etc.The more I check around the more ppl. I hear about who just can,t grow themselves and can,t find anyone who will do it for them.Looks to me like a big business to help others..... The more I think about it the more I realize that having a card doesn,t always mean you got your medicine.Most are on diasabilty income and can,t afford street prices. On the rare occasion when they get a grower they usually get ripped off and are back to square one....... I,m really hyped to get the chance to do legally what I did for yrs illegally.I just enjoy it and it,s therapy for me....... peace outta jarff

HC doesn't inform the pd about your grow unless the pd asks specifically if you/your address has a permit on the hole this information is considered privileged eg. the pd cant ask HC who in their jurisdiction has a permit.
Myself I would consider it foolish and just dumb to tell the pd that I had a permit unless they were at my door with a WARRANT period. |

Please say you have an FAC......If there is anything that the PoPo hate it is gun's n' grows.... The other methodology is to obtain your licence and take it down to the local cop shop.INSIST on seeing the top cop and show your licence to him/her alone.State that you are legal and remind cop that since they are not HC inspector they cannot now get a search warrant for your property for production of cannabis.This also helps so that if you are getting ripped, you can call the PoPo safetly and let them deal with the rippers.....I know this path might scare the bejazus out of you but since we are LEGAL now we deserve the full protection of the law, same as every other member of joe public.Down side is that the PoPo may try to get your house inspected by local authorities to make sure that the grow is "safe".If you can get it built to code you will be fine.The benefits here are that a squad car comes around to tell us when they know of active ripping crews in our area....they never get out of the car and are very polite,sometimes leaving a marked car nearby to deter rippers if they feel that it is necessary. Going legal takes a change of mindset.... |

I told the RCMP about every license i've had, in person. They were fucking awesome about it. Never had one come over in 2 years.
