Biggest yielder currently available for a SOG grow? - Female Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

So, my question is (maybe) a simple one. I want to maximize yield in a 100x100cm space. I was thinking of WWxBB, but after reading the thread about it I'm not so sure if it's really fit for SOG as some growers have reported that it performs better when grown into big bushes. Prior to this, I have done only SCROG grows in smaller spaces, so I'm not really sure which kind of plants perform well in SOG. I suppose that I should be looking for a strain that grows more like a single cola and which would have as little variation between specimens as possible? And as I said, I want heavy buds.

I would really appreciate help in choosing the best strain. Thanks in advance.

Get some chemdog ibl from reservoir seeds. Quality with v good yield.

Super silver haze too

Skunk Special or the Northern Lights. Any of their varieties can be scrogged I have done so but these 2 will yield you what you want with little fuss and taste just dandy.

From Female Seeds, the only strain I've grown is Tropical Ice.
Had only two plants, two different phenos, but both yielding thick and heavy buds. Some baseball batt potential here.

Thanks for the quick replies guys, however, note that I'm going to do a SOG this time, not SCROG...

Thought about Skunk Special, but it's not available at the moment. True, NL could perform well, but they mention about variation on FS webpages, which could complicate things. Thanks about that Tropical Ice suggestion mriko, I'll have to dig up some info about that

your welcome jojo. Note that the plants were grown under 150w hps + 72w cfls, plus a single 250w cfl during 4 last weeks of flowering. That one was hung OUTSIDE the grow tent, which is too small to contains so many lights, so it had a very limited influence I think.

My flowering times are all wrong, for some reason all my plants took around 4 weeks of 12/12 to show sex, don't know why..., and it's happening again, mwaaargh !

Check also other strains jojo, my indoor growing experience is way more limited than many many other people here and I sure can believe that Sensi Star can do better.

Feminized Sensi Star would be out of my budget though at the moment...posted this in Female Seeds subforum because they sell affordable fem seeds and seem to have good reputation.

female seeds has a couple good choices for sog, off the top of my head would be Pure AK, consistent large yeilding and potent... however the high while powerful can be boring, Northern lights, some variation but keeper phenos prove to be keif collectors dream, however the high of nl is pretty bland also. My personal choice would be ICE, mind numbingly strong and incredibly consistent for me. Hope this helps

WW x BB is another option for SOG.
Has enough stretch to do well even with little veg and yields crazy.
