I have been considering making a move out to Rhode Island.

My original plan was to go to Cali, LA area, only because I live in NV, Las Vegas area, and that's closer.

I have family in Rhode Island, and I could go out there a little easier then LA(other then the drive), but I was wondering if anyone has experience.

Are there dispensaries? I have searched on a few different sites. Some say RI has no dispensaries. Another one said there are 2.

If there are dispensaries, can you sell to them? I plan on having an extra pound or so a month I would like to sell legally.

Rhode Island's medical scene isn't even close to what cali has. That being said, top quality is worth easily double what it is in cali (5-6k/lb as opposed to 2-3k)

The only problem with this that if you want to move to Cali there are a) no jobs b) can't sell weed b/c market is flooded c) rent is $1500/month for a shitty 1-bd where d) there are hella gangbangers who want to rip off your grow and e) electricity is hella expensive, your competing with outdoor growers growing multiple elbows using zero electricity if you're contemplatin getting into the 'erb slanging game....

do you care about profit, or care about safety? a bedroom grow yeilding 5lbs every 3 months in RI will make you around 80k...whereas that same grow in california you are probably only making 40k a year after expenses but less likely to get raided.

I'll stick with Cali........love the weather and the energy and peeps.....I still make enough on my packs to make a few xtra bucks but I'm not in it for total profit. I also really get joy from helping my patients and friends feel better....I'd love to visit Rhode Island though I've heard it's beautiful also!
