Hi Guys,

I've been working with Hortilab during the past few weeks to hopefully bring them on board into the ICMAG, Seedbay and Seedboutique family. They would like to run a promo specially for ICMAG members, so I've included in this post a message from HortiLab that inculdes the details of the promotion...

Hello IC Mag,

2011 will be very interesting @ HortiLab and to introduce ourselves (and skip some waiting time until the "StarBud" release), we would like to give some IC Mag growers the possibility to try some of our gear for FREE (and at the same time participate in a little competition).

Welcome to the 1st Rumble in the Jungle Competition!

We will pick ten growers from a broad range of different growing styles and environments who are able to grow a pack (10 seeds) of "SourAmnesia" each.

How to participate in the competition:

Must be a member of the site for at least 3 months
Must have at least 100 posts
Must have 2 complete grow logs on the site
Must be able to pop the seeds right away
Must have a digital camera

How to win the Competition:

Out of all the resulting grow reports posted in our forum, we will select the 3 most beautiful "Sour Amnesia" pics.

The winners will receive:

1st place 1pack HortiLab "SuperSourSkunk" + HortiLab Hoody
2nd place 1pack HortiLab "SuperSourSkunk" + HortiLab T Shirt
3rd place 1pack HortiLab "SuperSourSkunk"

Please file your applications now and include pics and details of your room/setup in this thread. We will announce the chosen growers asap.

Stoked for super sour and star bud.

I met the hortilab guys at the cannabis cup this year, and got a bong rip of that super sour.

Yinz make a tasty product, that is for sure!

It would be nice to see a couple of growers able to participate in promotions like this who aren't operating a top shelf grow room.

I understand the vendors like to showcase their products in the best scenarios, but that fact is that "most" mj growers are operating in a closet or on a financial shoestring.

I mean sure if I had mega bucks to spend on gear and genetics, I could grow world class weed also. I would prefer to see what the products do for an "average grower", rather than what it does in a $50k grow op.

Ya know what I mean?

I tend to agree with you, StressTest

I mean, it's pretty predictable what a plant will do in indoor grow operations that are outfitted and automated with all the bells and whistles - usually highly commercial grow ops.

But, it really shows a plants' character when it's grown out by the regular 'small scale' growers -- after all, these people represent 99% of the folks that will be buying these seeds.

But I AM excited to see Horti Lab is gearing up to release some of their wares. I've been waiting for that...

I just built a new 1800w room with 64 plant sites, so I got rooom...

I run coco/perlite in #5 gropots, GH 6/9 for ferts.

I am Ed and i am on no side. Nice to meet you.
I think i have the rules covered. I am an indoor grower. Hydro. RW and bubblebuckets. Start seeds with flouros and work up to a 400cmh aircooled by a 6" inline inside a 4x4 tent. diy carbon filter with 4"vortex for exhaust. Just the basics here. I also have 600w lumatek for extra wattage i can throw next to the cmh incase all 10 seeds happen to be ladies......
