Bc Roadkill Sunk - Cannacopia - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hey all,

Last week I got 40 BC Roadkill Sunk seeds off of Chimera.

I don't know whether they are straight BC Roadkill or the Deep Chunk cross, but the label just said BC Roadkill Skunk.

Anyhoo, 20 were soaked in water for 12 hours, then put in to paper towels. After 24 hours 13 had sprouted and are now placed in jiffy's. Just waiting for them to pop there heads up and i'll start taking some pictures.

They are the BC Roadkill Skunk X DC.. more purple than the pure RKS thanks to the DC influence. The pure RKS is not available in seed form currently. I know the Cannacopia boys are working an inbred line, and may offer a backcross version at some point but I don't know when that will be. I'll be visiting with them when I get back to Canada, so we'll see if they have anything new in the works then.

Hey Chimera, definately interested if they're making a backcross or a RKS IBL. Please chime in somewhere on IC and let us know whats going on wit them boys and that project. Thanks in advance and take care ya'll 1

I don't think they are making an IBL so far, still waiting on someone in the know to chime in and give me the facts. If someone did make a real RKS IBL, i'd buy a lot of packs not only for me but to give to my friends for future generations so we never loss this as a community again. 1

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but this RKS they are working with is not THE RKS that gets so much attention and nostalgia. The RKS with ties to the SE US, christmas season and early 90's. Not saying that the clone cannacopia is working with isn't awesome, but I have seen absolutely no attempt from anyone to claim it as related in any genetic way whatsoever to the RKS that created the hype.

Again, not knocking it, I know nothing of it other than I have interest working with it, but it has no connection to what most US, especially east coast or southern US remembers as rks.

Chimera, could you tell us if their rks mom has the "skunk spray" smell or just a hint of skunk with other smells etc...

I was curious the range for skunks and if they had them in canada etc , Got on Nat.Geo. and learned they are in most parts of US and S.Canada , so you guys up north should know the smell people speak of when they say rks...
