Poor quality Blue Streak seeds
I purchased some blue streak from the "bou" right before christmas and wanted to start them fresh in the new year.
Well germinating these were a royal pain in the arse, had to eventually pre crack the tips with tweezers and 9 out of 10 germinated after one week . Well almost 2 weeks in and these babys are some slow to get going, planted them directly in a cup of seedling pro mix and plain Ph'd water . There is a couple that want to thrive but there is no vigor to these at all, almost make ya think that they are old stock. Here is a pic , i would have sent this in a private meessage but i couldn't. Had to purchase some sour 60's since they just stocked the boo, hopefully a little more gittee up to these once. Have to have some auto F2's by spring the blue streak's just weren't cutting it. |

Sorry to hear that. What kind of light are they under? Not sure what the problem is, as Blue Streak usually are pretty robust. Put them in bigger pots to begin with. Those little beer cups are way to small, put them in one gallon pot at least to start with, and add some kind of ammendment to it as well. Plain spagnum is what you are using, as there is nothing in Pro-mix. It nearly an inert product. Use alot of light at 24 hours. There are already several things I would not be doing. I can give you some tips, just PM me.

They are under a 4 lamp T5 fixture to start. To begin with i am keepin them in beer mugs because of these slow growin streak's. Want to see if they grew before i put them in any amount of medium.Yes i am using plain spagnum with perlite, I got some amendments mixed up in the bottom cup, some homade super soil, guano's and kelp meal and blood and bone etc. I am using 24 hrs light until sexing occurs and then i will drop down to 20. I am not doing anything wrong this batch of streaks just doesn't want to get moving .As i stated before I tried private messaging you but i don't think i have that option.

I was looking at your page and i come across counterfeit packaging and the first pic u got lokks like the packaging my blue streak's come in. I got them from gypsy's seed boutique so i assume they are legit. I also got my sour 60's from the bou.
All your gear at the bou and the bay are all your products , which vendors are selling the counterfeit seeds?? The packaging you show in the picture is what i got from gypsy's. Here is my pics of package they were sent in . Could you show a pic of proper packaging to compare , so someone can tell if they have counterfeit's. |

man that sucks.. Hope he fixes your problems...
Mdazing I also start my seeds in pro mix and get a usual 100% germ rate and have grown hundreds of strains. I pop seeds as a daily routine thats what i do.. thats my job.

i hear ya Dr Dank, germinating and sprouting is a very simple process. There are many ways to do it and I have done it plenty of times. I found it very ignorant of Mdanzig to stop in for 2 seconds and give his 2 cents worth and split . Like what kind of customer support is that? Anyways hopefully the sour 60's do better, if they don't well my bad. Blue Streak was my only option when i ordered , there was no regular auto seeds @ the bou @ the time.

Yeah thats why Im giving him my two cents lol I have grown so many strains.. none of his but many... I pop whole packs..... I never leave a seed behind
I look for the best one and mother it. now every seed that I have pop its been in a plastic cup like the one you have above... I don't see anything wrong with that, In fact I used to work for Cannabis Farms and have always done this since age 16-17.... used to have over 50+ moms and always poping seeds... in a cup Now I would like to hear the several things you would not be doing Mdazing??? Post it on here so we can all learn.
