I am a son of a son of Erin - my father was born and raised in Dublin, his family had a shop on O'Connell Street for many, many years (3 generations), and we are tracing our family tree back past 1830's in Dublin and surrounding area.

I've been twice - but not for almost 40 yrs.

When I was last there, the gypsys had horse drawn carriages, and were everywhere. Bray Head and Tullow are 2 of the sites I remember.

Still have aunt, uncle and 2 cousins living there - other branches of family tree are lost (for now), but my wife is trying to track them down.

I am a proud Irishmans son...

(But I cheated, and used google for the Gaelic)
