Outdoor Soil Mixes? - Eire (Irish) - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

What are some good outdoor soil mixes one could put together with products from Irish garden centres?

I have being reading some posts, but alot is based on American products which I cant seem to find in Ireland or not sold at all.

1 box of blood n bone meal.
1 box of garden lime.
1 bag of glacial rock dust.
1 drum/bag of chicken manure.
1 bag of cow manure.
1 box of epsom salts.
bags of potting compost.
bags of perlite.
All available in your average Irish garden center hardware chain store and will set you back just under 120 euro's.

And if possible lots of home made compost.

Add the correct amounts as stated on the directions with the composts and dig in well to the soil a few months prior to planting, cover and dig again a week or 2 before planting.
Works a treat for me and I rarely feed my outdoor plants n veggies.

You should do a diy soil test before you add any amendments, it will help you figure out things like drainage, humus content ect. ect.
