i dont think it would be affective method for a few reasons

1 plants to big for trays
2 longer veg months means you would need big cubes and a coco matt for the amount of roots that will grow
3 alot of debrees in your tray and possibly your res, pump, nosels and hose

thats just my opinion if it works for you thats awesome maybey try starting your run later in the outdoor season make sure to keep your humidity in check or do a spring harvest but it would need to be harvested by april or may-ish depending on the weather this year could be much earlier good luck!!

I wouldnt use rockwool. I would Maybe try rdwc but keeping your water temps down will be hard. The best semi hydro method for greenhouses in my opinion would be huge smart pots with drain to waste drip irrigation but your still probably gonna burn through atleast a 55 gallon drum of nute mix every day depending on the size of the grow.

im sure its been done, and im sure if done well it will produce amazing results. That said its is probably far more practical, far more easy, and far more profitable to grow in soil.

if your trying to do big plants you could do coco or hempys pretty easily and they would work well. DWC or RDWC is also a good option. If done properly you would probably get huge yields.

I think most people do soil outdoor/greenhouse because its a lot lower maintenance, if your in big pots or in the ground.
