Fucking PIGS! Im all for anti drug driving but this is really pushing ireland into a police state. Now a PIG can stop, detain and send you for blood tests if they "form the opinion" or just dont like the look of you. Try and put a needle in my arm and ill ram it in their fucking eye socket!

What worries me more is lets say I get stopped with a van full of pots n soil mix and tested for drugs.
It wont take a brain surgeon to put 2+2 together or at least raise suspicion?

What pisses me off is that you'll still be able to drive whacked out of your gourd on prescribed drugs when it clearly states on the label "do not operate heavy machinery"
How many accidents are caused by drivers on valium or xanax who are impared?

Not that I drive often while stoned but in future if I have to the welding mask and gloves will be in plain site and a crutch in the passanger seat...no guard I'm not stoned I just got flashed by the welder and I'm very sorry but I cant stand on one leg or walk in a straight line.

Kinda stupid when you consider you can still legally drive after 1 or 2 glasses of wine or a pint but you cant after even 1 puff of a joint.

A while back I was stopped by 2 California Highway Patrol officers, who were pissed off because my buddy kept handing my back my bong IN PLAIN SIGHT. We were being followed by an undercover chp officer who watched us smoke for about 30 minutes or so until the non-undercover officer caught up with us. They then pulled me out of the car and gave me a very, very thorough sobriety test, which I passed with flying colors. One cop kept telling my bro "He's going to jail, you guys are busted!" While the other cop kept asking me why were we even there! I take morphine, norco, and I had 8 different bags with probably over 2 oz, 3 bongs, all kinds of stuff. They gave it back, no ticket, no nada. Just because they suspect they have to PROVE you are INTOXICATED by it, not just using it. There is a difference, just like alcohol, exept they have the breathalyzer which tells them a certain level and if your above that you must be intoxicated.

the whole thing was kind of funny. The one cop was hopping up and down mad, kept saying that 30 minutes from now and we'd be stoned out of our minds!! I kept wanting to tell him, no I will be the same as now, only in a lot less discomfort, maybe even pass this test better than before, but I kept saying yes sir, no sir, yes sir, no sir!!
