Among an outdoor selection received from up North (thank you ! thank you ! thank you !) were some beans of a cryptic (at least to me) cross which I eventually found out to be Arne's Hash Plant (Enos X-Files x Amnesia Haze/Arne).
Unsure about the finishing time, I decided to give it a try indoor, throwing in two beans, and... WOW ! What a plant ! The pheno I had was haze dominant, producing airy but large buds and eventually yielding as much as the other indica dom plants I had (about 12gr. for the plant on pics). Very low odor, great for stealth grow, but if you rubb your nose in the buds, it's another story with a typical hazey perfume, but quite sweet and very greasy. When dry, uncured, it's all woodsy, peppery, lemony notes with hints of grapefruit as well. Was harvested at 11 weeks, but can certainly be done at around 9. I had a problem with this session and all plants had a stunted growth, taking nearly 4 weeks of 12/12 to show sex, even the f1 between 8-9 weekers took 11 weeks (12 would have been ideal actually...). I suspect salt build-up in my recycled soil, plus spider-mites attacks during most of flowering to be responsible for delaying the harvest. Pollen from the very fast male was used on some Tropical Ice (Fem Seeds), Mapple Leaf x Deep Chunk and Royal Dane x (Mapple Leaf x Deep Chunk) Effect (dry, uncured buds) comes up fast. Lungs expantion, and body feels like expanding through the warm waves of energy. Good energetic, happy, positive high, good for wake&bake or socializing, although maybe not to be overdone by newbies if harvested with clear glands or, uncured buds. I haven't grown to this date any sensi-style indica Hash-Plant so I can't really compare, but this strain definitely deserves the name of hashplant. The resin production is immense. Trim is all coated with glands and smokes way better than most commercial buds available in my town. Resin glands show up quite early (about 3 weeks earlier than other plants I had), fast and not lightly. In just a few days young buds & nearby leaves are white with resin, just like a mature plant would be, quite impressive. Sample wisely for the buds really pack up on volume in the last two weeks. The more you sample, the more you loose ! Anyway, if you're after an affordable, fast, tasty & potent haze hybrid, I think Arne's HP is the way to go ! What else can I say ? Don't know... except that I'm throwing more beans in the next session to come, yeeehaa ! Here a few pics, at 11 weeks, and at harvest (3 last pics). Sorry, dumb-lazy-me didn't take earlier ones (should have...). By the way, does anyone knows the pedigree of enos X-Files ? Irie !

thank you from that very fine report my dear bro. this one is among my favs this season for its strong but still very social and happy hazy high. it has a few phenos but they are all on the hazy side. next season i will concentrate on some special selected speciments. best is that its possible to grow the hashplant outdoor here far north because of its semi auto tendensis. the new HFH Hashplant2 with Danish Gold as dad should give us more of what we like

Incredible, i could do with growing a couple of plants like this through the summer.
Which will cope with the wet better, this one or Hashplant2? |

ty bro, they are both good against molds. if you want to protect the plants put them in full soil on a spot with open winds. also fungis like amistar or fishmix sprayed on the leafs will help. generally healthy plants protect themself

Esben brother it fills my heart with joy to see your Arne's looking so beautiful in so many countries where the growing is not so easy.

That looks really great, I went off to seedbay and got me a pack & some Danish gold also.
Hopefully i'll find somewhere for them for next summer. Im at 50North in the uk and every year i've had budrot come October. I think having them in the greenhouse has contributed to this. Would be nice to have a variety that doesn't turn to mush just before harvest. ![]() Thank you for the great price too.
