mason jar--wash with rubbing alcohol--saran wrap
can drug dogs smell through a sealed mason jar? a medical friend of mine has been getting his from cali in the mail this way. no problems yet, but whole societies have been built on dumb luck!
![]() FYI: RUBBING ALCOHOL **DOES** dissolve and remove thc and her accompanying oils. washing and rinsing with detergent does NOT. just a tip! my Butter: |

A large candle, using a hole saw, cut a huge, perfect hole out of the bottom center, save all the shavings, fill large hole with whatever wrapped in duct tape, melt the shavings back into the hole, send it anywhere.......

well can dogs smell it through a mason jar? I assume they can. Vacuum sealing is your answer my friend.

...double bag...
...First one leave some air and just seal it, don't vaccum it.... ....the second one you can vaccum it and the air in the first bag will prevent the buds from being crushed.... ..wash bags with bleach water and wear gloves...

This was also something I was thinking about, for thoose times when you just have to travel with some, whether it be for vacation or just a night out. What could be easier than packing it into jars and giving a quick scrub/soak with isopropyl alcohol. I always assumed it would work, after all mason jars are airtight, and the alcohol should dissolve all the residue on the outside of the jars, but it was an idea I wanted confirmation for before testing it out.

Seems like a lot of security riding on the fact that the glass must remain entact in shipping.
I have also had drivers insist if I wanted to get any kind of claim on a box they delivered where you could hear broken glass inside that I had to open it in front of them to inspect the contents or else sign an extra location saying I wasnt going to make a future claim. [ typical with any boxes that display damage. ]

They cannot smell through a glass jar or a metal container. The problem is the lid seal.
Perfect containment would be a seamless metal container welded closed or a glass tube melted shut. |

What I read works, and have always done since, is use cayenne pepper in a baggie. This baggie is placed into another baggie that has a baggie with the herb in it. 3 baggies. 1 herb, 1 cayenne pepper & 1 to hold these two.
Premise is that drug dogs, once getting a smell of the cayenne, will loose the ability to smell anything for some time. True? False?
