Calling all Holiday Cats & Dogs!

Get dressed up in your holiday finest!

In keeping with tradition spanning many many years here at ICM, there will once again be a holiday pet photo contest!

This is your chance to show us all your holiday photogenic feline and/or canine friend, and have some fun in the process.

Contest rules:

1. Photo must be recent and your own.
2. Photo must be in your ICM photo album.
3. No limit to number of photos you enter, since many have multiple pets.
4. This is a photo contest....composition is just as important as the cute subject in the photo. Photos should contain your cat or dog in some form of holiday costume or holiday themed backdrop.
5. The contest will remain open until January 31, 2011.
6. There will be three photos selected and placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
7. Winners will be announced the first week of February 2011.
8. Winners must send their shipping info directly to Gypsy Nirvana by pm to receive their prize. Prizes will consist of Dutchgrown Seeds.

To kick things off, here's a few photos of my two cats... one was being very uncooperative, and the other one...the daft one... well, he's been through this for many years and so it took only a couple of 'be still' and 'sit your arse down' comments to get him to acquiesce to the camera and santa suit.

Sometimes it's just very difficult to get a cooperative subject.

But, that's what makes this annual holiday pet contest so challenging, and, difficult to win.

well here is my entry....this is my dog brownie she is a pit/blue heeler(australian cattle dog) mix shes around 1 year 2 months old.....she dont look too happy lol

This is my favorite hiking companion, no holiday garments, but seasonal yes, and 15 Christmases were spent with this special boy. Happy Holidays sorry can't figure out how to post pic.

Here is my entry.

My dog Suni. She is a Shiba Inu and is pushing the end of her life at around 13 years. She acts like a puppy and looks like a puppy but hopefully she will live to see her 14th birthday

Her Name is Kit Suni, or suni for short, which is japanese for fox.

My Kitty Asia with Suni in the box. Asia wanted no part in this picture. Suni is extremely photogenic and is waiting for me to finish taking the pictures.

Yo, here's my cat he is nearly 13 years old but still very healthy just lazy

. His name is Garfield and he's really similar in his customs to the real one!
