Phillies pitching rotation
they just signed cliff lee, so now its holladay, lee, oswalt, and hamels.
thats the best rotation i can recall, can anyone think of better? as long as they can score runs, i think they could beat the yankees record for most wins. im not sure how big an impact loosing werth was, but signing lee is huge. |

yeah they might beat the Yankees for most wins but then they'd have to surpass the 2001 Mariners (116/46 & .716) to lay claim to any kind of modern day record; but they will NEVER beat the 1906 Cubs record of 116 & 36 w/a .763 percentage as only 152 games were played then. Nobody's EVER going to play .763 ball again as that would mean winning 124 games.......
