The U.S. Gov't, under the guise of the child internet porn protection act, wants Google's search records for an undertimined period of time, all I.P. Adress' and what they were searching for and looking at, this is rediculous. Google says it won't give in to the supeana but there is a disclaimer in the google privacy statement that says they will abide by all legal requests. I can't believe that this administration has no regard for the privacy of its citizens and is tearing away at the very fabric of our constitution, this country is supposed to be all about freedom and we see more and more of that freedom taken away everyday, You know, the right wing loves to say that anyone that critizes' the Gov't "Hates America" but I think its the right wing that really hates america because they want to destroy all the freedoms of privacy in this country, they can't stand not knowing or controlling what people read, watch, listen and who they do those things with, its scary and unbelivable that more people aren't outraged by this behavior, they're capitalizing on people's complacency. Wake up!!!

If the goverment wants records of kiddie porn searches, Good. I think it should be handed over on a Silver Platter. Fucking scum like that deserves to be placed behind bars, there are situations when privacy must be invaded, especially to protect children.

Now if this is one of those Blanket requests asking for all search records for the purpose of only using certain info, that is unacceptable.


The only people who should be concerned is Kiddie porn collectors and child molesters...ask yourself is this you? If not why waste your time thinking about it........

about all the implications of this motto as a general philosophy.....

Personally i wish there wasn't so much child pornography on the internet.....but i guess if there weren't a demand for these kinds of pictures there wouldn't be so much

Freedom is gone in the US. Throw the word terrorist in there and its OK to invade. Seems like Google would purge their search request on a regular basis so they could say Sorry, that info is gone but we will gladly work with you on future kid porn searches rather than handing over an entire log of all searches. It also seems it would be easier to search out those producing the kid porn rather than go for the perves looking at it. You've accomplished nothing by just getting rid of those looking when you don't get rid of those producing it.
Has anyone seen the Dateline(or one of those news shows) sting operations where they pose (not nude) kids in chat rooms and tell these sick fu*ks that mom and dad will be gone between such and such a time, then when the priest and doctors and lawyers get there, they'll pop out from behind a door with a camera and ask them why they're there as they sit there with there britches around there knees. It's friggin awesome. Some states are assisting with deputies outside just waiting to arrest them. Woo Hoo. I catch some fuck messing with my son or someone elses kid, that fuck is going down, end of story. No excuses and no acceptance for those that prey on children, yours or mine. Grab my little boys nuts and see if you have a hand left, tell them at the ER you had it where it didn't belong.
