Strawberry Diesel F2
Just want to express my thanks, and say great work Ganesh, so glad to see you have your own forum. This beauty is about 58 days into bloom and is starting to cloud up, but is still packing on the pistils. Very nice calyx to leaf ratio, maybe the best i have seen, and she stinks, kind of lemon perfume at first, then when i get my nose into a flower i get the distinct aroma of gasoline. If the looks and smell of this gal are any indication she should be quite the ride.

Iron Lion, I don't know what Ganesh has planned for the future, but the dear old dad of these particular F2s ( a spectacular one at that) has unfortunatly been lost. He has recently put out a Strawberry Diesel IX that uses a original female, f2female x f2 males of this cross. Hope this helps

I took her to a about nine weeks and chopped her. She is an amazing looking plant.
Started to throw numerous nanners at around 7.5 weeks, but i was not too concerned. The high calyx to leaf ratio makes spotting them pretty easy if you take the time to look. This will be the first plant that has hermed that i will grow again. For a plant that throws nanners in late flower, if grown outdoor, what would they typically do? Would they throw them towards the end of the season or what? I just know this plant would kick serious ass outdoors, but don't want to pass it on unless i am fairly certain it won't screw up anyones grow. Just thought i'd ask ya'll. Also i know some plants can be triggered to throw nanners from high temps, but how high? i run my temps arounf 85 because i run co2, but can this cause herms with certain strains. Please discuss |

inreplyavalon, did you find any immature seeds/primordia from the nanners she put out? I know there was only about 1 1/2 weeks between when you say she nannered and chop, just wondering if the pollen was sterile. I seem to remember that late stage nanners tend to be sterile and I would think ok for an outdoor run.
I recently grew out Sam's OHxSk#1 and ACE's Panama in the same tent (chopped both at 15-16 weeks) and the OHaze threw nanners late (maybe 11-12 weeks in) and not a single seed in either the OHaze of the Panama. Both are nice smokes, more spice/sandlewood for the Haze and a more fruity taste to the Panama. Potent beasts, too. Beautiful looking plants, as always. You have a massive green thumb. |

Inreplyavalon, just wondering, when did they start to darken up. I have 5 I am about to flower and I am just wondering what to expect. They look amazing, hope I can do as good as job as you. Thanks, also, just wondering, did your lower branches really shoot up, because mine look like little dark green bushes.
