Magenta99 (PCK X DTC99)

Magenta99 is an f1 hybrid of Pakistan Chitral Kush and DTC99. The two Phenos I grew stayed short. The first plant received no veg and was put into flower from seed. The 2nd plant received 4 weeks of veg. Both plants where Indica Dominate. The first Pheno turned a lovely shade of Pink/Magenta. This plant had exceptional resin production. I used a 400hps Eye Hortilux. The Buds where nice and firm for only using a 400hps. The 2nd pheno is still in flower. I will add info on the 2nd Pheno when she is done. I used Happy frog soil for both plants. I would recommend a 6 week veg for this strain. The high is very Narcotic and is exceptionally good for anxiety. Both Plants where very easy to grow. I used Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow and Revive for veg. For flower I used there Bloom with Cal/Mag and Jamacian Bat Guano high in PK. This is a Outstanding new cross by Dutchgrown.

cause if you like berry flavored weed,this is one to try!!

the deep berry odor becomes apparent as soon as the buds are crumbled up,not so much sweet as with a bit of a bite,like blackberry brandy or a good glass of port wine..




the flavor is also quite thick and complex,berries,most notably strawberry and blackberry with a dark currant undertone,like fruit leather,but made of berries and hash...

the high is warm and soothing,like having your own little lantern inside you...




not a couch locking sedative high,perhaps a bit of the dtc99 influence creeping in,it is fairly dreamy...good for contemplating ones navel,and great with deserts/sweets,perfect with after dinner coffee and relaxed settings...movement not impossible,just becomes a low priority...till the munchies set in....something about such flavorful weed makes the mind start thinking FOOD!!

The smells are very exotic at first. So exotic that I can't properly explain them. But when a bud is chopped up, it smells like a lemon has just exploded. This strain reminds me so much of the g13haze I used to run, and that is a very good thing.

I didn't have much time, but here are a few dry shots... this herb is so kill.... I couldn't describe the taste if I tried, but the smell is definite lemon zest. The high is where it's at though. It's surprisingly strong for even a super seasoned smoker. I sampled some with an older friend of mine who's a real old-school dude, and half way through the doob he looked at me with a half smile and dimly lit eyes, and said 'Damn...', lol... I looked back at him and said 'I know..."

prepare for a warm peach and berry snuggie,cause this stuff will wrap you in a fuzzy blanket of relaxing mellow vibes,like soft jazz music and vodka martinis...





the flavor while it strongly resembles the purple pheno as far as the type of berry flavor but not as intense or as deep,where the purple pheno is more like a port wine,deep and mysterious,the flavor of the green pheno is brighter and crisper,and overlaid on a peachy/crisp pear flavor with a hint of vanilla and hash.

the high is maybe even a touch more potent than the purple pheno,both are easy to smoke,the green pheno having a bit "softer" smoke,very low expansion.making it very easy to over indulge,the couchlock is a bit heavier with the green i think,the purple pheno i got seemed very dtc99 influenced,so the high for the purple is not as relaxed as the green,the green being very indica in nature,but lacking the cant move quality,you can move,it just never seems urgent...till the munchies strike...with the purple,its eat now!! with the green,its hmmmm,could use a bite....maybe i should make a pie from scratch....the high while ever present,doesnt interfere with task,they just go slower is all,and you know,thats groovy....
