Ganesh, just wondering if you could elaborate on the differences between your Strawberry Diesel F2 and your Strawberry Diesel IX. I have both, some SdF2 already going, and was just wondering about the difference or similarities between the two. If you have time to answer thanks.

Hello hiker,

Strawberry Diesel F2 is from original stock. If memory serves me right, two females were pollinated by my now extinguished full resin male.

Strawberry Diesel IX is my original Strawberry Diesel mother and another female from F2 stock crossed with a F2 male.

Thanks Ganesh, That is what I thought, p.s., I still think that male was one of the nicest looking plants I have ever seen. You should post another pic of him in a forum, so those growing your genetics will know what kind of male phenotype they might be looking for. And once again, congratulations on your forum, you earned it.

Are these going to be sold at the boo or bay ? I checked & could'nt find any ganesh seeds ? tia

this may be a silly question. But once you start crossing with f2's and stuff, i get lost. Is it better to have seeds from the original stock, or further down the line after a mother has been chosen, then cloned , then bred with a great male? Any lay-mens breakdown of how seed generation and then how does it extend to quality? meaning, are seeds such as f'5 or something 'better' or 'worse' or equal to the 'original' first version? Sorry if im confusing but i would love to learn more! Thanks!

Hey dropabomb,

It all depends on ... selection.
You can improve or ruin a line by incrossing it.

You can go as far as f5, f9 etc, and end up with a weak line, if you don't do a good job selecting the parents.

Of course, this is my opinion, and it could be wrong.

Glad to hear you used that full resin male in the SD F2's. That thing is redunkulous, you should throw a pic up of him. How long did it take you to find that male btw? I would love to find something similar. 10 seeds just doesnt seem like enough....

Thanks for picture and for the forum and seeds. 5 Strawberry Diesel F2s among others finally moved and under a real light. Gonna give them a week or two then cut the light.
