So far, so good, my friend! Now don't make the "newbie" mistake of overwatering and for God's sake don't feed them anything for the first two or three weeks anyway. Just keep the soil moist but don't saturate and you should be fine. Also, if using a flouro for lighting, get that light within a couple of inches of the plant tops so the plants don't stretch trying to get to the light. Best of luck with your good start!

400 watt is to strong for them youngun's. You can go cheap by getting a 60 watt or 100 watt huse bulb, and a cheap reflector fixture with the clamp on it and use. Best time to feed is during light hours.

My pleasure Rhino, anytime. I use a 125 watt flouro for my 12 site clone/seedling bubbler with 1 intake fan and 1 exhaust fan (110 volt 4" fans rated at 320 cubic feet per minute) Keeps my temps around 80 constantly.
Like Dr. D said, an envirolite would work great for your setup, then use your 400 watter for flowering. Grow and be Merry. DirtySouth |

Still might be a bit to warm, I've never dealt with 250 mh or hps. check the heat from it first, if you can. If any doubts go with the flouro's. If you do go with the 250 H or HPS, make sure you have a fan over them to help with heat.
Let us know how it turns out. |
