just wondering if anyone has ever done this?, I only got a bit of ice and been looking outside, think using snow could work? or just get all slushy ?????

It would get slushy,but you on the right track use a bucket full of icicles.

I never thought of that, icicles, I have a shit load of free ice hanging right off my house already.

Snow works fine too, i usually add enough to make a thick slush. It acts like sandpaper on the leaf rubbing all the trichy trichs off and yielding some of the purest hash as a result.
