i get that there are many factor to consider in a side by side like spurr wrote, but as a grower i don´t care about anything other than yield taste and potency

I think it will be a great addition to the forums.
And a great mod as well.

Even if we have reports with less than desirable controls in place, we can always absorb what info we get and parse it out as we will...just like everything else in here. One must always carry their salt shaker around with them.
Some reports will carry far more weight than others, and sure there will probably be lots of critiquing of methodology and other points of contention, but all and all it should be a great place to compile some valuable information.

And although I know it's well intentioned, I am one that hopes the judging and qualifying of reports don't go too far. By that I mean, I hate to see threads get nixed just because of a lesser number of controls or because of a method that may not suit ones taste. I think that valuable information is gained everyday in here from threads that were poorly constructed and with completely wrong or bad info just dripping out of it. In fact, it is those types of threads that end up separating the wheat from the chaff, so to speak...and seemingly worthless threads can turn into jewels of wisdom.

I noticed that we can't find posts helpful in this thread. Is this by design or an oversight? Seems to me that "helpful" posts would be of benefit in a situation such as this one.

PS - I'd love to see a 400w CMH vs 400w HPS side by side.
