So ive been looking to start up some new businesses. If anyone here is from Arizona would you chime in to the grow market and if there is a need for more suppliers. Id like to be able to help the new emerging cannabis patients in AZ through my years of experience and knowledge. Ive always believed there are three principals to run a business by: low prices - quality product - excellent customer service. Thank you. -BhT

I'm sure there is always room for more shops, but keep in mind it wasn't illegal to have a hydro store before prop 203, so there are plenty that have been doing business in AZ for years already.

I think a lot of dispensaries will struggle to keep up. Well, maybe some are putting together some giant warehouse grows, but others will be smaller. If they can't, then that's where caregivers can affiliate/contract with a dispensary and supply for 5 patient's worth of weed.
Otherwise not too many caregivers will be able to grow 'cause of the 25 mile nonsense.
Come set up a smoke shop where you can talk about what you really smoke in a waterpipe and you can say the word 'bong.'

I'm here in AZ ... nothing is "up and running" yet, this state won't ready till late summer / winter of 2011 .. lots of tape left to work through. Won't be anything like California at all, alot of state involvment here... lots ! .. but it's a start.

You basicly have 3 gear stores that have been running for a while now! Sea of green west (bell road and I-17) Sea of green in tempe, and homegrown hydro tempe. The town could honestly use a couple more hydro stores! Your taking my idea WTF! The guys at sea of GREEN west are great and really know there shit! Homegrown hydro feels more like a mom pop shop good vibes. They also had some plant tissues culture stuff going on (I'm liking the idea). If you built it they well grow!!!

I'm sure that you would do well,I lived in Tempe and Mesa in the 80s,expect to be under a microscope. Something else you might consider,consulting. Consultants are going to be needed in all phases of this massive undertaking of legalizing and regulating medical marijuana. Patients,doctors,dispensaries, hydro shops etc. A lot of $$$ is going to be made by consultants and attorneys.

I could have sworn I heard him do an interview where they were discussing substance and substance abuse and Joe said that he was against marijuana, except in instances where it was for medical use. I could be mistaken and who knows, maybe hes like the many that will say one thing in a interview to save face and do another when it comes down to action... Still looking into AZ, but im almost sure there are 1000 other people who are looking to do the same. I dont believe in liscense caps. I say permit them all and let the consumers sort it out.
