50 degrees F is too cold for solution bro....lower ph promotes root stimulation/growth so regardless of folks in the past saying neutral ph and tap water work since this thread is old , truth is that solution temps in the high 60`s - 70 with a lil bleach works best with ph in the mid 5`s IME.....also....once nubs show , add 1/2 strength ppm solution to increase metabolism for faster rooting....and....

Low light over the cloner to allow more root hormones produced inwardly instead of confusing the cuts with too much light that forces foliage growth to interrupt rooting helps more than most realize.....anyways....

i put nothing in my ez cloner. why one may ask; nothing? cause it always fails me...... maybe i could use the lower tub part of the cloner to store my rockwool cubes??? sounds like a better idea to me.

always backup the cloner with another cloning way..... all i can say

Run your pump 24/7 to keep the temp up of the water, 50f is way low. Mine runs around 68f water temp. I add Clear Rez every 5 days and do a complete bleach clean every 15 days to keep my cloner happy. I also add 5ml of clonex liquid for every gallon of water. I've never adjusted the ph and my tap water is 7.2. I only use 1 single 20w florescent tube over the cloner. Ive had my ezcloner for many years with 100% success on every clone.

Think ive been having to much light on them and the 50 degrees was a approximation but pretty sure its below 70 .thanks guys

ive lost my share of clones. with any cloning method, to much light will cause them to eat up reserve food an devour their leaves. a 2ft 25 watt fluro bulb to a 1ft x2ft area is all u need.
