Hello Fellow ICMaggers,

After a long break it is now finally time to get crackin!
Fresh and clean Ive started 15 Pure AK seeds.
Im looking for the 12 best or the 12 still alive for a female seed run. I will attempt keeping clones of the originals and budding the original 12 out.

Its still (real) early but Im so excited I couldn't help starting a thread... so without further ado lets get the party train rolling.

I've had my eye on the FMS AK for a while but got a long list of seeds to grow before it's their time, but I'll definitely keep checking this thread out.

Hi, Han! I'll be watching this too. I've been reading the debates about feminized seeds, but I recently decided to try fem seeds for the 1st time, after my last batch of plants from a homemade cross turned out very uniform in a bad way (full-on intersex plants, chopped about 14 days into flower!) Suddenly my flower room is almost empty....WTF! Now is the time for "Guaranteed girlz"! ! !

Have you run FMS seeds or Pure AK before? I've heard nothing but great things about FMS, and their prices can't be beat! Pure AK is the one I am most eager to try...Recently, they were all out at the Boo for a couple of weeks, so I ordered 2 Bubblegummer & 1 WWxBB. The day after they sent out my order, Pure AK was back! Not exactly a problem, I'll just have to scrape up more pennies & make a new order. But poor me, I think my order has gone astray (they mailed it abt 3 wks ago, it has never taken more than 4 days other than the last UK postal strike) .... :

Don't worry, I won't hijack your thread...I just wanted to vent and to let you know I am excited that I can at least WATCH Your grow, so thanks for starting the thread!! I wish you great success.

Cheerful: sorry to hear about your MIA seeds my fingers are crossed. This is my first time with Female seeds gear. mrwag's pure ak and why we do buckets thread made me pull the trigger I got rather ill last winter and lost all my plants so Im staring clean this round too. Hopefully this time without the PM (fingers still crossed here ).

Well its been almost a month. The plants are still rather small. I think the algae in the tank and tubes have been stunting their growth.

The plants are looking pretty good otherwise. Growing really bushy. Ive been thinking about not topping them. Ive been running dutch master gold grow A and B with no additives. I started getting what appeared to be a potassium deficiency. I added some Fox Farm Grow Big into the mix and it seemed to help. Will probably add more of that when I remake the reservoir.

Ive been having a serious algae problem. Im currently flushing with Physan 20. Tried keeping a dead res by adding bleach but still had an algae bloom.
Going to try adding some earthworm casting teabags to the res and cross my fingers.

Well Im throwing in the white towel to brown algae. Or should I say im throwing on the brown dirt. After major problems with algae in the res of the peace pipes, I moved them all to their own individual buckets. They had a good week of root growth but now Im still seeing massive amounts of algae on the roots. :(

Tonight I sprayed down the roots with a mild h202 and water solution. Letting the roots lay against the side of the bucket and wailing them with spray seemed to clean them pretty well.

Ive added Physan 20 to the buckets one more time just to kill the algae. Tomorrow they will all be put in soil. Perhaps another time I will try to turn the peace pipe system around but for now.. dirt works.
