PLEASE READ FIRST FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE
DUTCHGROWN SEEDS INDEPENDENT REPORTS SUB-FORUM

WELCOME, and hello with good vibes to all interested in DGS!

The intent for this sub-forum is to be a place for data collected from about the site pertaining to the results of DGS grown varieties by independent growers.To make searching for information easy for those seeking information about a particular DGS variety, I've made a thread for each DGS variety that has been grown by independent growers, including smoke reports. This data is organized into threads 'by variety', quoting the grower's original posted information and/or images.

For example, if one wants to read about the finished results of Sweetest Cindy99, one need only click on the thread titled Sweetest Cindy99 and find the data there, rather than searching through some rather lengthy grow threads in the DGS forum...although I do encourage everyone to read a grow thread in it's entirety, some members do not have the time to wade through extremely lengthy grow threads.

These threads will serve as a condensed version, showing the nearing completion and completion of a grow, along with the smoke report for that variety, provided one has been posted by the grower.

This DGS sub-forum has been set to accept the creation of new threads/posts by DGS only, as well as each variety specific thread closed to new posts sans posts made by DGS. The idea is to keep all info pertaining to a specific variety in ONE thread...not make multiples....that would defeat my purpose of making things easy to find, and keep all chatter down in the threads here in this sub-forum so that the info doesn't become lost in pages of posts outside of the specific report and ultimately serve as a reference tool.

Members can easily reach each original post placed in a thread here by simply clicking on the directional arrow following the member's name in the quoted post(s) and be taken to the thread it derived from. Hope you all find something here that interests you. I believe that members seeing what other growers have to show about DGS to be a good independent way to present information from independent sources.

This sub-forum does not replace the importance of making a grow report in the Strain Guide section, nor an entry in the Cannabis/Hash Smoke Reports forum here: https://www.icmag.com/ic/forumdisplay.php?f=65 .

This sub-forum is a place where one can easily locate reference data to completed grows, especially if there are some growers who are not inclined to use the Strain Guide Grow Reports to enter their data there...or to make a thread in the smoke reports section of ICM, although I certainly urge everyone who has grown a DGS variety to completion to do so.

A big thanks to all of you who do take the extra time to share your information with others.

Thanks Cannawinner. If the info of specific varieties are in one place, each thread variety specific, then it will make pertinent info readily available in an easy to find manner.

What I've noticed however, is that members are having more and more of a tendency to make complimentary comment posts within the independent report threads, which will (over time) defeat the purpose of trying to keep these threads with posts that are taken from a lengthy grow thread and placed there by me as I find them.

What I would suggest to members is that they click on the link (small arrow icon) at the beginning of the quoted text (after the quoted member's name) and that will take one to the original grow thread, where their complimentary comments can be posted to the member that actually did the grow.

Because of this.... I'm going to close all the independent report threads to new posts, so that as I come across posts that pertain to a specific variety I can continue to quote them for placement in their thread here, without these threads becoming cluttered with additional comment posts.
