As a vet spent 10 years in the Army. Those young soldiers are going to get jammed by the man article 15 if not court marshal. Either way they're going to be busted in rank, forfeit a bunch of pay, get restricted to the barracks, all the while getting the GENERAL UNDER LESS THAN HONORABLE DISCHARGE (you don't get any GI bill or VA bennies). You can bet they will be made an example of so the rest of the GI's don't get the same idea.

It's especially dumb to do something illegal while under the UCMJ's jurisdiction. They are a disgrace to anyone who put on the uniform. What makes it worse is that they intended to deprive patients in need of their medication. They deserve whatever comes to them.

As an admitted clostrophobic, I went ape shit when I locked myself inside my grow tent. (For a good laugh, see my thread Trapped... In My Grow Tent!).
It reminded me of a time when I was a kid, a bunch of us broke into some older kids clubhouse by crawling in thru a window. Had to boost my friends up to the window for them to get out. About that time, here come the older kids and I'm stuck with nobody to boost me up. I can't imagine being trapped in there, waiting for the cops to come and arrest me. And all the dope locked up in the safe! Shitty day indeed. |

What fortitude does it take to join the team with the lowest entry requirements in the country? All thieves and buglers put themselves potentially in harms way, does that make them honorable? There are NO freedoms provided to ANY US citizen by the military; the military is a paid force which PROTECTS the power of the ELITES. Freedom and liberties are HUMAN RIGHTS that the US Constitution recognized and made the supreme law of the land. And for 230 years the ELITES have been USING the power of the military and government for personal gain. If you don't like the 230 year time frame. Please explain to me how ANY of our personal freedoms were protected by Korea, Vietnam, Iraq I, Iraq II, or Afghanistan. We are NOT a socialist or communist nation, why would ANYONE want to contribute to something that doesn't benefit them? Do you think the ELITES are contributing to WARS that don't benefit them? Why is nothing done about Sudan and other genocides, if we are such a glorious communist nation? I wish everyone would work hard and contribute to groups, organizations, and fraternal organizations ONLY IF they believe it serves THEIR interests. Anyone FORCED to CONTRIBUTE against their will or interests ISN'T free (despite all the SLAUGHTERED service people through the ages).

This is obviously a stunning indictment of military crimes - would this crime have happened if there was not a military base nearby?
Military should be kept away from civilians - they have guns and training to kill. Funny how the cops that answered this call didn't use deadly force - like if there had been a poodle on the premises, instead of 3 trained killers. |

Soldiers:...we're here to get rid of the marijuana
Isn't funny how Moe, Larry and Shemp ( there's no way Curly would have been involved in anything this moronic ) all of sunden get righteous when they get caught.
![]() Three Fort Carson soldiers had a perfectly good explanation for allegedly breaking into a pot dispensary in Colorado Springs early Saturday.
It was a public service. “We were just trying to get rid of all the marijuana,” Pfc. Ramone Hollins told officers after the trio were arrested inside Rocky Road Remedies at 2489 S. Academy Blvd. on the city’s southeast side, according to an arrest affidavit. Hollins, 22, Pfc. Darius Thomas, 23, and Pvt. Cory Young, 22, were arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary after police say they accidentally locked themselves inside the dispensary during a burglary-gone-bad. Officers freed the men and they were booked into El Paso County jail, each on a $10,000 bond. All three soldiers were in the 1st Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, an attack helicopter unit at Fort Carson. Hollins is detailed to human resources, Young is an Apache mechanic and Thomas is a unit supply specialist, service records show. None had served in combat. Colorado Springs police Officer Joseph Langlais said in the arrest affidavit that police were on an unrelated call at a neighboring business just after 2 a.m. when they heard someone banging on glass inside the pot dispensary. The dispensary had closed for the night, police said. While several officers guarded the front, Langlais went around to the back and saw that the door knob had been knocked from the door and was lying on the ground, leaving a large hole. Through the hole, Langlais said he saw a “dark-colored finger” poking at the dead bolt, which had apparently re-engaged in the door jamb after the break-in. “I announced ‘Police!’ at which time the finger quickly retracted into the business and I immediately heard at least two voices screaming profanities,” he wrote. After being arrested, two of the suspects told officers they broke in with the best of intentions: They were going to steal the marijuana not to sell or smoke but to destroy it, Langlais said. The store owner, Renze Waddington, said the men were inside for a matter of minutes and didn’t have a chance to take anything before they were detected. The store’s marijuana and cash were secured in a safe, he said. Surveillance footage showed the trio running from one end of the store to another “like rats in a maze” after realizing police were outside, Waddington said. A drilling hammer and two chisels were among the burglary tools found outside the back entrance, police said. Read more: https://www.gazette.com/articles/good...#ixzz15hGGvxw7
