My father wants me to become a Mason
so, i just got off the phone with my dad and he's like are you down with the square? he spoke of some high profile individuals i have affiliated with and asked if i knew what they knew. i have the normal non masonic person's perception and kinda think devil worshiping is involved but, he insists none of that is the case. he tells me that it's just a heightened state of awareness and the prominent people i have affiliation with are connected in the same way. we know the same people in the same ways but, he's a older version of myself. so, i'm contemplating the idea of being inducted but, i'm unsure if this is the right thing to do. i've read a lot on the society mainly internet conjecture and conspiracy theory but, having the opportunity to find out what's really going on has peeked my attention.
any masons here with some good advice?

Don't join the Illuminati bro that's for sure! Just kidding, I say do it, you get some good connections and you're in a "secret" society. That last point seems cool to me for some reason

I seriously considered it, but there are more pressing matters out of their hands (at least so i think) Basically the free masons built this country. Worth going to a meeting, mostly networking, should be all positive, there are some fees involved though so check it out, i think most masons wont get too into specifics until you go to a meeting, i know they have guy at the door, and a few other positions. I just know they meet, collect money, do some talking/planning and people leave. Repeat. Im pretty interested but dont have the time to devote to something like that at the moment. Good luck .

do it and let us know lol.
Realistically it wil be like any other club. A way to help each other out, a way to exclude those the group doesn't like and a way for members to feel superior to non members. Maybe some opportunities for business promotion, if you feel like giving a few evenings here and there up to benefit your contacts list then its probably worth it, if you get your head done in by people wanting to look down on others without justification then it prob isn't. |

Go to a meeting and talk to people. Some lodges are great people, some are less so. Where I grew up there were two lodges, the white lodge and the everyone else who didn't care about race lodge. You will meet very cool people and make great connections.

If your are getting a sponsored invite then your attainable prestige within is usually dictated by the level of your sponsor. There are exceptions though.
The higher level your sponsor the more this turns into a Red pill vs Blue pill like scenario, the lower he is the more likely you are basically joining a well connected group of lodge members. If nothing else a connected brotherhood is always good to have a connection to in a pinch. a few S&B and Masons in my family lineage. good luck -WasntMe

In Aztec mythology, Tonatiuh was the sun god. The Aztec people considered him the leader of Tollan, their heaven. He was also known as the fifth sun, because the Aztecs believed that he was the sun that took over when the fourth sun was expelled from the sky. He was a sun-god, and heavenly warrior; God of the Sun represented by the eagle. Poor and ill, Tonatiuh cast himself into the flames, and being burnt up, was resurrected. Daily Tonatiuh repeats his passage across the heavens, down into darkness, and back again into the sky. With him Tonatiuh carries all brave warriors who have died in battle and all brave women who have died in childbirth. The greatest heroes Tonatiuh carries with him to the greatest heights. to Tonatiuhican. |
