LUI 13 Thread here!

Started a LUI 13 thread in the micro forum and since I added some pics (a nice show of the LUI 13 vs bagseed vs Orig Haze X Skunk you can easily see the difference the genetics make on day 8).

Sorry I don't live up to my handle atm, I used to run organics but doing hand watered coco w/ Rez's formula.

Here is a closeup of my favorite lui 13 seedling so far:

Well, it's ok that your not using organics because your probably not a squirrel either, lol. Good luck with this grow, the LUI 13 looks like a knock out strain.

Looks to be a nice set-up you have going...had a chance to follow your link and check out what you are doing. As always my kudos to those who tackle grows in this manner.

Look forward to following along your grow here in my forum. Your LUI13's appear to be off to a superb start!

How long do you plan to veg them?

Good growing to you!

Good luck with it all, I'll be watching with interest how the LUI13 do in your PLL setup micro style. I reckon the LUI will be perfect for your setup, the OH x SK#1 will require some expert LST and tying down to contain the beasts they'll become

Thanks for the good energy, it was really funny to look at the tray today. The lui 13 all look almost identical, all really exceptional examples and quite hardy, with roots already going to the bottom 1/3 of the cups. I had another OHXS pop open, and those look both very similar. The bagseed are odd and remind me of some I grew out 5 or 6 years ago... They have some odd stretchy cotyledon and some curling/twisting leaves. This is the first time I've ever had breeder packs so it is quite a sight to see how gorgeous and uniform a nicely worked line can be. Some of the bag seed plants had a little fan burn (doesn't show on the lui 13 or ohxs) so I took them out for an hour or so and did some work on my cab. I don't have a fan blowing on them any more, which makes me a little nervous that they will be weak stemmed, but better than fan burn.

I got some of that cheeseXsshc not too long ago and I was considering popping a few beans but I have 4 more cubes that could possibly germinate.

I plan on vegging the lui 13 for about a month I think, time enough to be sure to get some nice cuttings. In the next week I plan on finishing my bottom chamber of the cabinet and using it to push the ohxs into straight 12/12. Hopefully that will keep the harvests a little closer and the plant heights might be more manageable.

They need only shimmy just a bit...a slow, gentle dance and the stems should be fine. Too much fan will dehydrate them as well...so just a nice, slow gentle movement of air is enough to help them be strong.

Hey guys, I totally redid the cabinet and the LUI 13s suffered for a few days (had to relocate em all). They seem to be doing fine, now, but I had the light too close to a couple.

I plan on transplanting them into bigger pots tonight!

Hope all is going well since your cab modifications and up-potting. Look forward to another update when you get the time.

Well, since you asked so nicely...

Here they are on the 21st (beans put in rooters on the 1st), with a messed up PH:

Here they are now:

Here is a look at the LUI 13:

Gonna take some cuts / top em tonight. The LUI13 are all pretty identical looking, and are responding very quickly to the ph fix. The bagseed are really starting to fall behind and the orig haze x skunk are really breaking out. I think I am going to take cuttings of them and I may just chop after I sex them because I don't think I'll have room.
