Well it was a stoner moment but

we were putting together a bubble cloner and ended up getting a 2 1/8th hole saw instead of a 2".

Are the 2" neoprene inserts EXACTLY 2" or is there some taper to them?

I don't want to order them if they are exactly 2 inches and that damn extra 1/8th inch we cut out will just have em drop through the holes.

anyone have any on hand that can see what the exact measurements are. I tried looking online but that question I guess doesn't really pop up.

If it is exactly 2" I suppose I will grab the 3" and cut em down to what I need them to be.

They are 2", you want to cut holes SMALLER than the inserts, so they squeeze in snuggly, I think I made my holes for my 2" neoprene inserts 1 7/8" or something like that so they fit snuggly. They will probably do exactly what you're thinking(drop right through).

*EDIT* I just measured one, its just slightly less than 2" in diameter. it is more like 1 7/8", but that could be because mine were squeezed into 1 7/8" holes, I dont happen to have an unused one before i crammed them in.

off to get the 3" inserts then and trim em down to what I need lol.
