whats the earliest you have planted seeds ?

Anyone put seeds out before April with no added light in the gh? So far I have had great luck with April 1st with seeds 4 weeks old ish.
What problems have you had with early plantings of seeds?

It usually depends on climate and elevation. Here in northern New Mexico its a general rule of thumb to plant the last part of April or the first part of May. The elevation here is 5,300 ft. and the temperatures are still dipping down into the thirties. Also, there have been years where we have snowfall until the last part of May. This is for greenhouses. Outdoors, the general rule of thumb is to plant around Memorial Day (last Monday of May).

I've planted earlier than that for a spring crop. Veg indoor from jan/feb and flower outdoor from the beginning of March. Not easy with all strains but fast indicas will do.
If you dont want an early flowering check your local sunrise/sunset schedule and wait till 14 hours of light or so.

Peace
