Id like to introduce to the international community an organization which helps facilitate the use and reserch of medical marijuana for patients of disorders ranging from neurodegenerative, dermatological, to autoimmune and psychological or psychosomatic.

Konopi je Lek - Hemp is Healing - Cannabis is Medicine is located in the central part of Prague, Czech Republic. They have an educational clinic that deals with the medicinal use of marijuana, Zizkov, Praha, Atelier ALF.

The staff is very friendly and they are tuned into the vibes of our sacred plant. Dedicated to healing with hemp and extracts, tinctures and lotions, they strive to help the patients with all questions regarding hemp and its use in the healing practices. They are concurrently expanding the facility for use and study of other herbs and natural remedies, with concentrations on traditional recipes, medicine through breeding and spreading knowledge to patients and politicians on the healing properties of hemp. Unfortunately local police and politicians still to this day refuse to accept the medicinal value of cannabis and so fields have been confiscated on numerous occassions which leads to repeated problems in trying to accomodate patients with the right types of medicinal cannabis and hinders anz progress in research with relevence to cannabinoids and there effects in human populations. Being that research on the medicinal effects of cannabis and associated thc, cbd, cbn and terpenoids are in there infancy- such confiscations can have lasting negative influences on the medical front.

Working in the medical marijuana industry can be very challenging as international legislators are only recenty realizing how many obstacles we are facing in the field of herbal remedies and their responsible use and distribution. Also there is a definate economic need to realize the potential of hemp as not only medication for a variety of disorders but as a source of biomass from fibers.

All parts of the plant can be used and it has been explained by numerous financial and agrotech advisors that the use of hemp would be beneficial to the bioecology and economies of those whom would choose to accept it as a source of energy and would impliment the production of materials from fiber.

Unfortunately, there are still many whom do not understand or want to accept the importance of use of hemp and extracts, including those of other herbs.

Herbal remedies in general have an enormous potential to mediate the problems faced by our recently technologically oriented societies. They have been shown to help ease the pain of and in some cases reverse the damage done by cancer or diabetes. Being that cancer rates are increasing at an alarming rate, as reported by the World Health Organization. It would be critical for politicians and legislators to realize the capacity of herbal remedies in helping us to face many of the challenges we are facing as a whole.

I would urge persons whom can to support herbal remedies, there use and research for medicinal effects, locally and globally.

On the 17th of November Konopi je Lek is organizing a 2010 Velvet Revolution ° with a flower in hand to remind us of how the rights of persons to use herbal remedies, particularly hemp, have not been recognized by the government locally and abroad.

Following this there will be an international Cannafest on the 19th through 21st, considered to be the biggest international Hemp Fair. https://en.cannafest.cz/news/

We look forward to the participation of anyone coming to the hemp fair or the recreation of the velvet revolution with a flower in hand.

We will begin to appear from the forest of the hill of Petrin in Prague around 11 17 am on 11 17, and will gladly be joined by anyone in town for the hempfest.

With a flower in hand we will have representatives by the monument to the victems of communism at cca 11 00 am, so we look forward to anyone whom wants to join us in our walk through Prague to commemerate the rights of patients and researchers worldwide whom find solace in herbal and natural remedies, some of which have been outlawed or may become regulated in the future.

Freedom is in the mind, and now walks with a flower in hand. Let us not forget our rights as humans whom have developed along side our sacred herb for centuries while those in legislatory powers realize how important it is for todays society to accept that hemp heals.
