Franco did you ever run testers of the Malawi gold or are you only testing hybridized plants containing the malawi gold selections you made?

well, I have been planting the seeds we collected, and I selected 6 lines, or phenos...
they are wonderful sativas, but too tall and too long-flowering for any commercial/indoor application. So I started crossing the selected females with some good males, and the results are promising. But we have more and more strains in our catalog, and at the moment it's hard to find square meters for going on with the selection and the backcrossing. Soon I will start giving away seeds of the Malawi lines to selected seed-testers.... ....if growers are willing to help, the Malawi project can be brought forward.... ;-) |

mmm malawi.. i have a malawi gold reg going from holy smokes.. she's a baby right now, but I'm hoping for a lady to try this sativa.. really keeping my fingers crossed. I'd like so see what greenhouse can do with malawi.. I know I love the SLH, its my top strain all around.
I really enjoyed the strain hunters series, it's exciting to see it progress into this |

To long for indoor application means that the flowering time is app 18 - 24 weeks.Why is it not option to do an open pollination of the phenotypes you have and let the growers decide which phenotype is interesting to develop a hybrid with a less longer flowering time to grow indoors.
People want it RAW nowadays straight out of the jungle.  Keep on growing

I make my own landrace hybrids although this one was accidently made.It seems they found out you have to put more time in creating those wild ones straight from the bush into good hybrids.Rome wasn't also build in one day.
