Ok,finally getting around to starting a thread for these two awesome new additions to the DGS lineup,been a rough start on this one,its always that one aspect of growing you think you have mastered that kicks you in the shins! have lost one seedling already due to not watching the little details and have had two seeds not pop due to being first drowned then dried out,i havent lost all hope ,they still seem intact and not rotted,but i may have killed them already.
so,through various mis-adventures i now have 6 nice Magenta99 seedlings and three DTC99's on their first day under the edges of the light in the big room.

i still have the most recent pics from today to post as well as some of the fluff and falderall....need to get back home with a mouse and i will update...

just thought i would toss everyone a curveball and start with actual seedlings this time!

i know,but stupid pilot error always bugs me...i will make note of this in the update in a few minutes,but a light scuffing may be in order with the DTC99

first off the DTC99

the next time i try sprouting these i think a light scuffing may be in order,the first two popped right up alongside the Magenta99,the third lagged behind by a few days,i had noted that the three rapid rooter at that end were sopping wet,so i emptied the excess moisture from the seedling tray,No3 popped up at that point,then the rapid rooters got too dry,so they still remain intact and not rotten,but havent cracked...still havent given up on them...

so here are the three that survived my ham- handedness,under the edge of the 1k,already moved them in closer as it is clear they are liking the increased light,and are getting just the right light breeze to dance in..

and now the Magenta99 (PCKx DTC99f2)

now these i made an entirely different mistake,i started with five,all five came up within 24hrs of one another,three were straining against the top of the seedling dome and i ended up rushing the other two out of the dome,so one dried up and died,the other had shell trouble,fell over,got the shell off and is gamely fighting its way back,i ended up sprouting three more seeds thinking to replace two,and of course got three healthy seedling,so i have 6 and one trying its best to make the cut.

cmon little one,you can do it!!
