Heya BOG & GP.... got a carepackage from SD and guess what's in it? Grape Punch!

I have a peat/soil mix ready for indoor vegetation under 4 foot flos (24) then indoor flowering in 5 gal buckets feeding them Organic Advantage from Humatech under 2 400w metal halides (12/12).

I am a fairly new grower (about 2 years now) but I have finally "tasted" a little success recently. I could really put any advice to good use here in the "basement". Anything that you'd care to share regarding GP vegetation time, soil mix, feeding habits, topping or not, budding, leaf color traits and cloaning and or sexing them for seeds would be very cool.

So do you add any nitrigen to the soil? If so go lighter than usual. GP is strong and will uptake nutes well but they will thrive in a plain mix like peat and soil.

How tall do you want them to get? I grow in 4 gal pots to flower and i have 4.5 feet of headroom.

If you want them to get tall I would put them 18 inches from the light after 4 weeks in veg to make them reach (try this maybe) they tend to not reach as much as other bog lines as long as they get enough light. When my seedlings are under the flouro's for the first 3-4 weeks they want to avoid the somewhat spindley stage of seedlinghood. They tend to instead stay squat and fat.
I found that a good set of flouro bulbs can make a difference. like the ones I found at home depot that put out 3200 lumens versus like the average tube having like 2200 lumens I think.

After they veg 3-4 weeks in small cups and are rooted well i transplant into 2 gal buckets for the rest of veg time. Once in their 2 gal pots I have had some closer to the lights and some farther away the ones farther away grew up more than the ones I put at normal light height.(perhaps this is a trait from the LS as they dont need as much light as others)

I use bogs soil mix and its important to remember SEEDS DONT NEED HOT SOIL. Not until they get into my 2 gal pots do I think they are safe for adding grow ferts.(to the soil and in weekly feedings)

Cloning should not be a problem as the stems offer thick cuttings at the right stages.

toping a plant will help it bush out. I take off the growing tip as a clone if I want to top a plant.

Any nitrigen added to the soil comes from the Organic Advantage from Humatech its a 12-12-6-1%S mixture, if that helps any.

How tall do you want them to get?
Not looking for tall plants just fat bushy ones.

Grape, I wanted to let you know that the 3 GP seeds that I am germing now had already cracked their shell and white was starting to buldge out when I opened my BOG 12 pack. Needless to say, I got 'em going right away. I think that I saw another post on here about something like that with a BOG pack upon arrival. It's not a problem.... just lettin' ya know br0. Led

i got my grape punch yesterday im gooing to be using bog's mix too under 300w fluros to start and finishing up with a mix of a 430w sonagro and 400w metal halide w/265cfm fan for exaust

so far 0 for 3 with my Grape Punch seed germination.... come on babies....

Dang.... it's been 9 days on the Grapes and only the white buldge is sticking out, just like when they arrived. Think it's time to scrap these 3 beans

thats interesting ZEP, i started 2 LS, and 2BMR all popped in 3 days.. :p B O G was out of GP when he sent me some..ne way best of luck on the GP germ :p
