wow 85 days is kinda long! they look a lil leafy too but reallly nice otherwise!

yep... i was also hopping for a shorter flowering time... but not these phenos... actually this isn't what i was expecting like i wrote in the 1st post... because i saw some amazing pictures from a older grow... and that pheno was simply amazing ( at least the looks were A+++) you can see it here

anyway about this phenos... i think the 85 days hit right in the bull's eye... it's the time these phenos needed... it's my belief ! if you see picts from 2 weeks ago you will see she wasn't done! she swelled alot these last 2 weeks...

they resemble alot in bud structure to a blueberry i grow awhile back... even had some purple showing up now!

smell is very nice...kinda of a sweet smell, the trichomes are more oily than sticky after rubbing a sugar leaf


so... long story short

600w HPS
Soil, tap water, Bio canna line
grow tent (in the summer!ouchh) = high temps
when it's the first time i grow a new strain i never trained her...just let nature do her thang ... so no topping, supercropping, bendind or whatever


it was a hard plant to trim due to having so much leaf... I don't really appreciate the extra hard work on harvest, it's a already time consuming and very demanding job... but it had to be done!
indeed too leafy for me as well... but not the end of the world ehehe

and yes both phenos are cloned... but i still have 8 original seeds to mess with... until i try it out i'm keeping the clones

Looks like they got some heat like you said and maybe too much nitrogen which explains the longer finish times and leafiness but other than that I would say you did a damn good job on them and I am willing to bet you cash money that they taste amazing and have a great buzz! I would say those lean very far to the BB sativa parental side of things so expect a really comfy and soothing, but slightly "up" thought provoking high. Good pics too!

yeah heat is a general problem in my summer grows! always in the red line... it probably affected final yield... but i really don't mind that... as long it's tasty and effective (for me it's all about flava)about nitrogen i don't think so! the BioCanna Flores doesn't have that much of N... and that green is after 2 weeks flush!! anyway, i said it resemble a blueberry i grow awhile back (very leafy plant, very similar) in that way they do resemble BB (at least the pheno i've grow)...although these BS2.2 have much better smell IMO at least for my taste ehehe

but one thing we all agree is that this particular phenos were done with 85 days (i'm not complaining, it's just the way it is, like i posted few days ago i always try to go to the max limit possible, just because is the way i like it )

breeders estimate is just that... a estimate.... that's the biggest error new growers do, if it says in the pack 50 days, they will chop it after 50 days beeing the plant done or not! that's a BIG NO NO... fuck estimates the plants are done when they are done!

ALWAYS GO BY TRICHOMES (this is my advice)

can you explain the smell. i just crossed some lemon venom and jacks cleaner 2 and i have a one pheno that smells like bubblegum with lemon i love it but cant work out where the bubblegum smell is from i have a bubblegum kush growing in the same room i was thinking it had taken on the smell from that. but seeing your blue sat i think it may be a recessive gene from the lemon venom cos it was made with a blue sat as a parent. and the leaves on my crosses are dark blue

hey bigwity, to me it smells like tutti-frutti chewing gum, very nice sweet scent
