Visiting Greece and have a few questions - Greek - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

I have family in Greece, living in Peraus and also on Aegina and Agistre. I am going there for a couple years and would like to know how the weed situation is there? Are the younger croud cool with it like in the States?
I have been growing in the US for many years and wonder if I lived on the Islands if they fly choppers overhead looking for weed gardens?
None of my family there smokes weed that I know of. So I am stuck trying to find someone with connects or just grow my own.
Also do they have any grow shops that sell equipment there for indoor growing?
When I lived on Aegina back in 2000 I thought about how easy and perfect it would be to grow near my place.

I have only visited but I didn't have a terribly hard time finding something to smoke. It was usually hash but it was pretty good nonetheless. Good luck and I look forward to seeing what an actual Greek has to say.

Look,here in greece weed is ilegal.But many people smoke.
For the growing i dont know much for outdoor but i suggest you to grow indoor for not having trouble.
If you want a grow shop you can go to Exarhia it is in the center of athens and you will find whatever you want the name of the shop is alegre.This is their website https://www.alegre.gr.They have an online shop to order what you want from the internet.So good start and welcome to greece.

P.S. My english sucks,i hope to understand what I say.

I am the one that needs to work on my Greek. Thank you for the info. We have a few houses on the Islands so either one is perfect. I will just keep things small and to myself.

By the way, dare I say what team I support? Olympiakos!!! The games there are fucking crazy. I remember when my dad took me to a game. Just a friendly game, Olypiakos vs Aek. This was probably 20 years ago or so. I still remember the chants they were screaming back and forth.
One of my favorite times as a kid was at that game with my dad.
I went a few years back with one of my friends and he was scared shitless at a game. I still do not get why they only let one side teams fans go to games. My dad tells me that they will kill each other thats is why.

This is the best way to relax.Go to an island and smoke pot all day.I love it.In thee summer go to the beach and you will see what i mean.It is fuckin awesome.

They are idiots.They just believe that hooligans are the best and they fight all the time.They like to fight or steal or maybe kill.Many fans have killed from the other team fans.The best way is to stay out of this.You can go to see a match to shout but you must watch out.I don't like football very much so i don't care about this.It's a very nice expirience to go to a football match.The best in the stadiums is that the most of times you smoking weed free cause they have too much.

So how harsh are the penelties if caught growing weed in Greece? Also what are the penelties for getting caught with some? Is it a fine or automatic jail time?
On Aegina I dont think I have ever seen a cop where we live. Also our houses over look the Sea and it takes 30 seconds to go to the beach. So pretty there.
I try to stay out of Athen's when I am there. I try to stay on the Islands.
Which Islands are Pot friendly? Are there any where a lot of college kids go to?

hey smokey , untill 50g and if not other things that can acuse dealing ( electronic weges etc ) is just a somewhat cheap fine for the 1st time and no jail at all ( well u go in for 2 to6 months if u dont have 150-600euros but even then they will prefer to pay cause greek jails are full and they try to lower the number of convicts ) , growing weed in greece depents on what u are going for , 1 or 2 big plants can be taken as personal use but if u dont have a good lawyer and money needed u could end up in jail just for 1 dwarf plant , for example the court will take as mj tree a clone cloning , they can weight up the plants found and take it as an end product , so a just watered 150g plant on veg will be taken as "cannabis"

keep it personal and u will have np , cops in greece tent to be more civilised towards foreigners if they act civilised too , the alegre shop mentioned has it all except beans
u can send the beans to urself having fake poster, none can sneak into ur mail

as for outdoors the weather window passed for good till march or even more , when are u coming ?
