Creating/developing a banner for web use requires knowledge, and artistic talent, mostly in the area of graphic arts.

Making a banner sounds easy, right? Yeah, I've tried it on my own before and trust me...if you don't have the knowledge of how to assemble one, the results are generally not too good.

Looking at a banner, seems like a pretty simple thing to design, and it basically is....but....only for those who know what they are doing.

Designing an online banner is extremely difficult for someone like myself who hasn't a clue where to start.

Soooo, here's the deal.........Dutchgrown Seeds would like to have a banner highlighting the new release of:

DTC99 f2
Magenta99
Laughing Tiger
Thai Dragon99
Abyss99
Xanadu
Arctic Storm

Maybe there's some graphic artists among our membership here that would like to help me out with this?

I'd like something bright...and easily read....flash is preferred...I like to see things moving.

If you'd like to throw your hat in the ring for some awesome genetics as a prize...please post up your banner entry here.

The only specs I know to give are:

520x75 is the max size and the banner can be a jpg, gif, png or flash file

I know there's talent among the members here. Some have made various things like logos, and banners that are used on the site and know that some of our members here are really good with graphics

...please take a stab at it, the developer of the winning DGS banner will, of course, be nicely rewarded....and that could be you!

Is there an official DG logo we can make use of? Or just go all out original...?

Haven't really developed a long term logo yet...have used my avatar image and variations of it so far...so I guess to answer your question, would be either, or...and somewhat in keeping with things from an Arthuran legend stance, or, fantasy/fairies/wizards sort of feel.

But I'm open to other ideas...never know what will grab me, so I leave it up to the imagination and vision of the graphics designer.

Hey DG, if you were to have a logo drawn up for you for the banner, what do you prefer the initials to be? DG? DGS? DS?

DGS is the inventory code on both Seedbay and Sboo, so perhaps DGS would be the most appropriate.
