Is this a really bad idea or what? I'm not talking about anything huge here, but is it a bad idea to source some fairly obvious supplies for a cabinet sized grow from the States?

I order stuff from HTG in california and it's all good, I wouldn't order it to a place you plan to grow at though.

When I order from them it is boxed up in a discrete way and the business name isn't blatantly a grow shop so I don't worry.

I order alot of what I use.I have it sent elswhere and then I pick it up.If this wasnt possible...I would still order them and have them come to me.Never had a problem,but I think its really a crapshoot.HTG supply is a safe place.

And every time I order something off E-bay from out of the country I have problems.Instructions in another language,Power hook-ups wont work in the U.S.....or (and this is the most occuring problem) it just never shows up.I dont order things from china because they never seem to show up.

If its possible..keep your money in the country you live in...It really helps your economy.

I have gotten seeds and a tumbler from either overseas or south of the border and not had any issues. Probably not a bad Idea to just order small orders at once though. That way you don't have all your eggs in one basket if you do have problems with customs.

I have bought seeds from the UK, PLL lights from the US and tank/hose fittings from the US. All online orders and no problems.

I currently have a microscope off ebay on order from the US but its not here yet.

i buy a lot of stock at BGH hydro , its in california i think ...

fast shipping, and good price, , they also have a 'online chat help service " , if you got some probleme or quetion they answer you in a couple of minute !

Hey there. I have also ordered a few things from BGH with no problems. Good quality and selection and prices are to be found from many vendors in the States. Supporting local economies are also a good idea although some of the deals cannot be matched from the Stateside outfits. I live near the Washington Border and sometimes I get items shipped to my friends place in WA then just go and pick it up. Regards.

funnest thing I ordered some floramite from the US and the vendor had wrote on the invoice "this will keep the mites off your buds" which wouldn't have been too bad except the package had been opened by customs. if I hadn't had my card I would have been pretty bummed so be careful what you have shipped and where you have it shipped.
