Really nice plant to grow, good smoke ^^ I'll keep the best female I had.

Here the first 2 clones from my Choc Chunk mum, small tester is nearly at 7 weeks, larger cut is around the 2/3 week mark.

She really is a beautiful plant, come over all crazy amber/purple at about 4/5 weeks flower. If I can keep the spider mites at bay long enough I can see her being a truly special looking plant at maturity.

Can't wait to see how she smokes.

Thats a Really Strange Color Leaf on the Close-Up of the "Tester"... It Appears Like its Lacking Pigment, Unlike the Typical-Ripening- Yellowing
Perhaps its the Exposure of Pic, or Has it Been "Albino" the Entire Grow??

Hi, yes the discolouration is quite unusual, she just went like that at about the 4 week mark as the plant started taking on its purple hues... though I do have high heat (stress) and spider mite issues that may have contributed... you can certainly see a lot of mite damage on the "testers" leaves.

It being a new strain to me (and me being a noob grower!) it'll be a good few more cuts of her before I know her properly, all part of the fun though!

The next, larger cut, is just starting to frost up and is approaching the point where it should start changing its appearance in the next week or so... she is certainly a healthier plant than the little cut was at this point I think but still suffering from heat stress and lamp burns a little!

I'll post further pics when she decides what she is doing!

Edit- As per the smell, I'm certainly not picking up any chocolate. I can't really place it though I think it's because I'm growing her alongside stinkier stuff that drown her out so maybe I'm not the best judge... a friend grower checked her out recently and said he got coffee'ish aromas but I think she is more spicy... quite delicate on the smell front either way, or my nose is banjaxed, bit of both I think!

Dry nugshot of the mini Chocolate Chunk.

Really like this strain, currently smoking the larger plant, which didn't purple off as much and retained green leaves etc right to the end, so I think the weird colouration was just due to restricted size/rootspace etc.
She has a lovely floral aroma that I would associate with Afghan indica types, but a unique sickly fruit twist when buds are disturbed/broken up with a subtle musky skunky undertone... very nice stuff.
It is potent, but doesn't put me to sleep as quickly as a lot of indica dominant strains tend to do, smooth to smoke and proper munchies weed... have been eating tons of chocolate recently... maybe that's what's with the name!
