All I can say is I wish them the very best I hear what your saying rick about the tainted genetics but there HAS to be a pure line out there somewhere,, Most of us rely on pure old seeds that have a low germination rate and leaves the gene pool blank in areas as we were not there in the making of these seeds but there is hope with a line that is still going in the outback,, I hear of very racey weeds that are too mind bending to blaze a fat 1.. Or you all can't control you body parts I only ever come across this 1 time I think.. Go on CBD CREW!!!

Yes there is Buffoonman, on Hokkaido there is wild hemp, but it's hemp, no good for smoking. One type is called Dosanko and has been maintained by Shinto priests on tiny patches of land within the grounds of temples, they are allowed to grow small amounts to make the traditional paper and rope for Shinto temples. The whole of Japan used to have wild hemp but it's been largely eradicated, you may still find some but what use it would be is beyond me, it's hemp not drug cannabis, same species but totally different, like a Chihuahua and an Alaskan Timber Wolf are the same species but have very little in common.

Be very very careful in Japan, the laws are extremely harsh against cannabis.

No, hemp seeds are not illegal there, they are widely used as a foodstuff.

I don't see any point in collecting hemp seeds, you can buy Chinese hemp seeds in the UK, I got a kilo of em sat here, got em from a healthfood store in Manchester Chinatown, cost 2.99 I think, and they are very viable, I threw a handful in the back garden just to see if they would grow and they did, they grew with immense vigour but were incredibly stretchy, looked like a fibre variety, lots of stem, little foliage. I pulled em and threw em on the compost heap when they hit 2 foot, I was only interested in seeing if they were viable or not.

Again, hemp is of zero use in any drug cannabis breeding scheme, any trait you can find in hemp that may be useful can also be found in drug cannabis.

Maybe rick just wants to find that great tasting but zero effect plant he dreams of. lol

The pic is from Prince of Persia and the seeds are collected at the border of Persia & Afghanistan, so it would be easy to find a good CBD pheno.

China is another option.
