Hey everyone

I am wondering when we can expect to know when/where the 420 cup will be hosted?

I am almost ready to pay for my stay in Amsterdam for 10 days on a houseboat! I don't want to find out later it is being hosted somewhere else or anything like that. I expect to pay for the boat in the next few weeks, I am really looking forward to coming over there and meeting everyone.

I have a grow planned out for the growers cup, and even some strains just to have ready to send over and share with you all.

Anyone care to comment, Gypsy, DG, OP? Just getting in the spirit already over here and I hope it is on your minds as well! Thanks for any info we can get!

I'm with ya brother! Got my cash ready an some loose plans but waitin to hear something definitive before I drop some $$$ on a deposit for a place to stay. The wife and I are thinking of renting an apartment so we can blaze away.
Gonna be staying 10 days as well.

I'm so freakin stoked for this!

The IC Mag 420 Cup 2011 will again be held in Amsterdam. The degree of my involvement to the administrative side of the event is contingent upon whether I have breeder entries to submit again, or whether I elect to not enter in order to benefit the cup by better organizing everything. OP has expressed a desire to be able to attend the cup without having to help in it's organization for a change, and if this comes about, that leaves me really having to make a choice between entering or organizing. But no worries, the cup will go on either way....arrangements are already underway for next year's 'daily base location' in the dam.

I have been in charge of organizing the cup since 2004, and is an event I hold very dear...so much so that I just might be willing to sacrifice entering in order to help put it all on in 2011. It was extremely frustrating for me this past cup to sit on the sidelines and not be able to get involved because of me having entered....so in all likelihood I'll elect to not enter, but not saying for sure just yet....because if there's a way I can help organize it all, but have sufficient SB administrative personnel on hand to handle and blind label all the entries, then tally the ballots at the end, that would enable me to perhaps enter, as well as organize the event sans the entry side of things.

evlme....that's cool bro, but the 420 Cup prides itself around 'blind' entries, and therefore disclosure of what one has in mind to enter is not permitted.

I've been wanting to make this for several years now. I'm a frugal bastard and usually go during the cheaper months, nov-feb.

The only volcanoes we need to see are those containing cannabis.
