Well icmagers i have some updates.

My recipe of 1 1 1 GMB is not ideal but the plants survive and the roots getting bigger and bigger i also start to believe that my ph updrifting issue is due to weak solution, the unfertilized soil Shiva mother is still bigger and healthier , tommorow i will make my first reservoir change and i am going to use 3-2-1 recipe from Hydrosun and tjo i am thinking to make the solution at 1.2 EC - ppm 850(.7)
Do you find that it will be fine with this strengh or i must do it weaker or stronger ?

Yes i will buy somethink like this and some diamond nectar and some h2o2 , i have a big list from bottles to buy !

Today i will make my res change and i will mix @ 3-2-1 from Hydrosun or 4-2-1 from Useless veg formula for the third week .
I will give @ the solution 12 hours to buffer and then i will fix my ph HOPING to stay where i will put it or at least drift together with the ppm.

Well today as i told you i make my water change , it is one hell of adventure.... not laugh at me.

I drain my system , i clean my reservoirs and i put in the system 60litre(16 gallons) of pure R/O water @ ppm 3 and ph 6,7.
The god gives me the inspiration to insulate the control bucket from the system for mixing there my nutes and let them later recirculate in the system.
I have a paper in FRONT OF ME with big letters writen
126 ml Grow - 63 ml MIcro - 31 ml Bloom .

I have read somewhere to mix first the micro and then the grow and bloom .

So i pick my syringe and begin to add nutes when i complete the 126 ml (got it ?) i am going to close the bottle and i notice that i put in the water 126 ml of Micro insted of 63 ml cause the first number in my paper was 126 .. :(
Such a waste and what a good luck i only replace the 4 gallons of my control bucket..

Ok now on the recipe i use i try to avoid Lucas formula cause of defiances in Mg and Ca
I have one recipe from Useless for the 3rd week of veg with 12-6-3 GMB .
I also have another recipe from Hydrosun with two more bottles except GMB
and a third recipe from tjo 3-2-1.
Cause Hydrosun add's some more green bottles i think to follow the Useless formula wich is close to the one of tjo.
I mix the 12-6-3 in 2/3 strenght
and for the momment i have a solution @ 1120(.7) ppm or 1.6 EC
and ph @ 5.2

My 2/3 strenght (8-4-2) is stronger from the original recipe here

week 3 12-6-3 800/1000 (continue week 3 formula if additional veg time is required.)

i was confused , but anyway i will follow the next advice from Useless
"allow time for the ph buffers in the nutrient solution to do their job. Mix the nutes up, and bubble or circulate for 12 hours before even looking at your PH"

and i am going to fix my ph or and ad some water to make the solution weaker in about 12 hours

Hope my girls make it with my newb handling of everything .... at least i have and one girl in soil unfertilized and happy .

So you will have some news in less than 24 hours

from yesterday my plants looks much better. the 3-2-1 recipe is
2 strong but this this the base of all recipes..i never use the full strength.
12-8-4 +4ml diamond nectar seems work ok for my plants in that stage. i saw today better collor and bigger plants.
...and i have VERY stable ph..i dont know why your ph has drifts,
strange because you have RO.

Hello icmagers today i have some pic updates 3 days later from the last pic update.

i am thinking to try them outdoor this summer !!

Well as i told you yesterday i leave my new nutrient solution
@ 1130(.7) ppm and ph @ 5,2 to buffer
after 15 hours the ppm was 1127(.7) and ph @ 6,1.
The ph keep going upwards but slowly now.

The good news is that the roots of my girls expode in mass
and girls start to drink up nutes , i think.

Today i found my ppm @ 1105(.7) and ph @ 6,3
i add 2 ml GH ph down in my solution and get back the ph to 5,6
Water temps is near 23 Celsius

I was thinking that 1.6 EC (1120 @.7ppm) is to strong for my girls as
jm420 said above but girls seem to like it and i think that Shiva Skunk
is a heavy feeder .

I would like to push the EC even higher to find the limits of my girls
but i have already enough problems so i will leave it as is.

Except root mass the girls grow bigger since last pic update but they still
did not catch up the Shiva mother wich is still unfertilized in her soil ,
away from the light , the Shiva mother look 100% healthy too .

Maybe you can spot a slight Mg defiance in my girls ,
with all these ph driftings and problems with my nutrient solution
they make it good.

The Shive Skunk from sensi look like intresting ,
the plants keep making very short internodes even
with the 400W HPS standing way to high.
