^ dejian is very secluded so if your accepted as a student be humbled.he also helps the poor and sickly.a true humanitarian.

Trained in Shorin Ryu from the age of 12 to 18. Began training in JKD/Kali with Guru Inosanto at the old IMB academy. I've done a couple of Dog Brother fights along the way, trained with Vunak for a while as well as some of his students.

As with most JKD guys,I've done quite a few seminars with various Muay thai guys,silat,etc.

Quite a few other arts along the way,but primarily a JKD guy at heart.

It's been a rewarding 30 years,even though the last 8 or so have changed due to health reasons.

I've studied traditional kung fu for 3 years but more than 10 years ago. It was a northern style called Mei Hua Chuan. I stopped after university when I went back to my town.
During a summer stage I experienced the basic lu of Tai Chi (Yang), Tang Lang, Pa Kua Chan, Pa Chi and Xing Yi (5 elements). I miss those funny years of my life.

I missed the other thread but all the best wishes for this one. You'll have to face:

Have dabbled in: judo(6yrs old),kung fu(to much memorizing routines),Akido(serious use of energy,nice),boxing,taekwondo( poor escapes, dont like pads),ninjitsu-jujitsu(once, dont like holding,) but my love is only for capoeira.

unfortunarley i really dont have someone to practice against do the best things ro use are in nature.
the nay sayers can argue all they want all martial arts are from shaolin.
i am reading dr.yang jwing mings xinyi chuan and his chi na book,my next copy i want to get is shuai jiau ,basics chinese wrestling ,and not in the western sense.
i recomend his books cause they even go back to poems to convey the emotions of the move ect...

Used to do seikido when I was a kid, as I have gotten older I find myself drawn to the founding Okinawan styles. Now I train in Shotokan whenever I get the chance to visit my friend who is a sensi. Also interested in learning aikido. I have always felt a blend of aikido and shotokan could be quite devastating.
